A warm breeze flowed through her curls as her feat pushed off the dewy ground, the crisp night air slowed her nerves. Just a mile away her friends sat at the Gryffindor table laughing and eating dinner, the glowing yellow light shinned in the corner of her dark ires. Practice had ended almost an hour ago, but Stella couldn't bring herself to touch the ground. The sky still a light shade of blue as the stars began to show themselves. The stars gleamed and blinked in and out of sight as Stella flew laps around the empty stadium. Though her grip stayed strong, her body relaxed as she seamlessly glided through the silent air, her head turning skywards as she let her head fall backward. Even though her watery eyes, she could see the speckled stars. Her body going almost weightless as the wind became white noise, her eyes locked on the diamonds above, till she found the brightest one. It glimmered an iridescent blue, as it out shaw the others shrouding and her mother's sweet voice rang through her mind.

"Each one has a story, just like you and me. You see that big bright one in-between its brother and sister. That's Alnilam, and it's a part of Orion's belt. Orion died at the hands of his friend."

Any time Stella didn't understand the story her mother wanted to tell. The memory of her mother's playful laughter after Stella asked why.

"Well see Orian was a great brave hunter. And he had a best friend, Artemis. But Orian had angered The Earth Mother and she sent a scorpion after him. But Orian was smart and he jumped into the ocean to safety, but another god Apollo took the opportunity to trick his sister. Do you remember who his sister is?"

Stella had nodded happily, the twin of the sun and moon being her favorite gods of the myths her mother would tell.

"Well Artemis, was tricked to shoot down Orian believing he was a villain. But when she came to see the villain she found a friend. So in memory, she made a beautiful constellation so that everyone would know his legacy. Do you know why I'm telling you this?" Her mother had looked down at the young three-year-old, but Stella only shook her head.
