"Today where making Veritaserum, who can tell me what that does?" Professor Snape asks.
Hermione raises her hand.
"Hermione" Professor Snape says.
"Veritaserum is a powerful truth-telling serum that mandates those who take it to answer questions truthfully" Hermione explains.
(I know it takes 28 days to make but let's just pretend it doesn't)
You and draco finish first
"Now test your potion" Professor tells us.
Draco takes small amount (so it will only last a minute)
"Ask me a question" draco says.
"Why do you hate me just because I'm a Mudbloods" you ask.
"I don't actually hate Mudbloods, I just don't want to disappoint my father" draco whispers to you so nobody hears
"Oh.. I understand, and don't worry I'll keep your secret" you promise.
"Thanks Granger" draco thanks you.
"Your quite cute when your not being a jerk" you say with a smile.
"Your cute too" draco says blushing.
"That's not fair the truth serum didn't where off" draco says in embarrassment.
"Ok Granger, your turn" he says.
You take a sip
"Ask away" you say hesitating.
"Do you really think I'm a jerk" he asks nervously.
"Draco.." you say hesitantly.
"Just answer the question Granger" he says looking at the ground.
"No, I just think your broken, and don't get the attention you need from your parents so you'll do anything to make them love you. I think you just need to know your loved, Because you are" you say looking into his eyes
Your serum where's off.
"You're wrong Granger! My home life is perfectly fine. Filthy Mudblood" he says in an angry voice
(Everyone's looking at you guys at this point)
He tries to walk away but you grab his wrist, turn him around and hug him
"You don't have to lie to me malfoy, you can trust me. Meet me in the Slytherin common room after dinner" you whisper in his ear
You guys stop hugging and the bell rings
