He's Always There, But Never Here <3

At every thought, my heart skips a beat
He gives me a reason to stay up on my feet
He stole my heart to mend it good
Making it work the way it should
There's no place else I'd rather be
Than by his side, filled with glee
He keeps his promises
Assures me well
Tells me things I could never tell

His arms are warm, his heart beats fast
Washes away any terrible past
He's my one and only,
My personal sun
With all my heart, I love him like he's the only one
I want to keep him, I don't want to share
But go ahead, try to take him away, I dare
He helps me sleep within the night,
Taking me to a place where we gracefully take flight

We stay with each other, we're joined to the hip
A journey over the ocean in a golden ship
He tells me, "Don't worry. don't freak out,"
I smile and my affections want to shout
The moment I saw him, my heart jumped into his hands
He makes me laugh as we settle our plans
He's my crutch, my drug, he's my backbone
He's my reason to live, my cornerstone
Like a drum, my heart never stops beating
He watches me at night so he knows I'm sleeping

But people around, they dont want to see
Just how much this boy means to me
They stare and they gossip and they laugh and they tease
Making me wish that I could leave
They make me feel weird
I don't think it's fair
But they just want to know
Why I talk to air
