"i'm drowning. . ."
jisoo moved an inch to get closer to him. she needed to calm the beating heart of her own before it could even hurt her physically.
"i can't feel anything," kim taehyung repeated in a more hoarsed voice, the shaking of his hands while he was hugging his knees went wilder. "i'm drowning. . ."
"it's alright," jisoo didn't know why she mumbled those soothing words, but she just found herself saying it. "it's gonna be alright."
but it seems like he was still dreaming. . . in a dark, lonely place. he could hear the waves and deep ocean echoing in his mind as he repeatedly tried to move his body— but nothing worked out.
the light he was seeing from above slowly shed darkness when he felt himself drowning little by little. he moved his hands to escape but he felt like he was chained. the strong feeling of stopping him was all over his entire body.
but jisoo sees different. the room 303 patient was just there, sitting at the corner while his whole body was shaking in fear. in a fetal position, he whimpered and whimpered to let out the pain, yet nothing changed but the fact that he felt he was caged.
"it's okay. . ." jisoo whispered under her breath as she slowly remembered the memories inside the asylum. the patients she was once get closed to, the happiness she felt helping them, and the pain that suffocated her whenever they were having a hard time.
"it's the medicines," she followed as she tried reaching out for him, making her way to touch his quivering hands as softly as she could. "you're gonna be fine. ."
"NO!"
the moment her fingers carressed against his, taehyung woke up, jolted back and ragingly yelled at her. due to his instinct, he grabbed her violently and wrapped his arm around her neck, causing jisoo to scream in horror.
"who the fuck are you?" very much different from his sleeping form earlier, his eyes fiercely darted at the girl who entered his room. his arms were giving her a hard time to breathe, his other hand locking her.
"ms. jisoo!" before anything bad could've happened, the nurses who were alarmed at her screams entered the room and took her away from taehyung in an instant.
"get away from me you fucking idiots!" he furiously yelled at the nurses as he tried to move but they were faster. they grabbed him forcefully as jisoo was taken away from the others.
"no, no, i'm fine!" she says as she tried to stop them when she saw a nurse grabbing the vaccine for taehyung. "don't hurt him! don't—"
but because he was too strong and a havoc could've probably been done in any seconds, they injected him by the neck as fast as they could, causing him to yelp in pain.
