A Tsundere's Lover

Chap. 09

After Saya Takagi had a melt down, she had calmed down enough for all 38 survivors to get inside the faculty room as Mr. Tateyama helps his students build a barricade as everyone is scattered around the room in various locations with some people on the floor, in the teachers desks or chairs  as the rest their site muscles or feet and try to catch their breath from all the running and fighting that had to do since the intercoms warned the school, and now that the time has passed as it is 5:23 PM now.

In the kitchen area Saya was using the sink to wash all the blood out of her hair and off her face, skin and as much off her uniform as she can. Kohta Hirano had approached her with a concern look on his face, "Hey just wondering. Are you okay?" He asked her, as Saya had finished cleaning her face of all the blood and had taken out her contacts to replace them with her glasses. Saya had used here lavender hand towel to dry her face when she turned to Kohta in confusion.

"You! You where glasses!?" Kohta exclaimed in shock, which seem to annoyed Saya as she threw her towel at Kohta's face and shouted out, getting some people to look in her direction, "Shut up! My contact lenses keep moving around! Ugh." And with that Saya storms away as Kohta mumbled under his breath, "She wears glasses..." With a dazed look on his face.

Rei Miyamoto, Asuma Hajima and Momo Kawamoto moved past Kohta as they grabbed all the unopened water bottles in the fridge and began to hand the bottles out to everyone in the room, who said their thanks to the three girls. When Momo gets to Toshimi Niki and Misuzu Ichijou, she has a look of realization and worry on her face, which caused Toshimi to look at her and asked in a concern look on her face to ask, "What's wrong Kawamoto-san?"

"How can I just forget about my best friend Fumiko Taniuchi? She is in class 2-A and yet I didn't even go to check on her when everything happened! I don't even know if she is still alive or not and I call her my best friend, if I didn't even think about whether or not she is still alive..." Momo started to break down so Misuzu took the remaining water bottles from Momo's arms as girl started to shake as she kept thinking about see her friend as one of THEM. She is taken out of her thoughts when she felt someone pull her into a hug, and run the back of her head as they whispered sweet words in ear, saying how everything will be much better. Everyone looked over at Kurumi Harada who has Momo in her arms as she tries to calm down.

Rei gave a water bottle to Takashi Komuro, who was sitting against a large cabnit filled with various types of books as he sat on the floor. Takashi thanked her as she gave the last water bottles in her arms to herself and her boyfriend Hisashi Igou. "Dr. Marikawa where is the car key?" Takashi asked the blond haired woman who looks at him before she grabs her purse, " Its in my purse somewhere. This caused everyone in the room to slowly look at her in confusion, "Are you sure YOUR car is big enough to fit ALL of us?" Saeko Busujima asked the school nurse in disbelief, and that seem to be enough for her to remember that she drives a little four person yellow bug, as she lowered her head in disappointment, "Now that I think about it..."

"And my car is a jeep but it can fit only 4 to 6 people in it. So that is out of the question." Mr. Tateyama replies making some of the students look dejected as that would mean only 4 or 8 people will be safe in the vehicles.  "Did all of us seriously forget about the buses in the parking lot? There's three of them that can fit up to 60 people just fine." Saya said as she is air drying her uniform by the windows.

That caused Morita to look out the windows to see into the parking lot and spot all three buses still parked in there usual spots. "Hey guys! The buses are still here!" The other students all perked up at that of having to not walk through the horse of them and a way for everyone to escape.

"That's fine and all but where are going?" Shizuka turns to Takashi who finished most of his water, "Where going to go and make sure our families are okay? We'll start with the family that lives closest from the school, if your worried about your family, we'll bring them with us. After that we'll..." Saya looks up to question Takashi as he stopped talking, and when she look up to question him she saw, Takashi and a slowly everyone turning to the only TV in the center of the room that was on low volume.
