After the events that occurred, the boys had to leave The Kenway Manor and embark a ship to somewhere safe, a place that the Assassin's wouldn't dare go.

I love you, Shay Patrick Cormac.

----- The next day. -----

The salty waves crashed against the hull of the frigate, 'The Camelot Arms', It's hull an old worn Reddish brown colour with fading red and gold paintwork . White seagulls shrieked and cried above as they soared through the clear sky, not a cloud to be seen on this fine sunny morning. Ship bells rang as a cool breeze swept through white canvas sails. The sound of horse hooves and people chatting could be heard distant from the docks, closer inland as they went about their day. "Steady as she goes" Shouted a crew member to another over the surrounding noise as he rolled a barrel up the gangplank.

- Shay POV. -

In the distance, Haytham could be seen talking to The Camelot Arms' Captain, the man nodded as Haytham handed him a full pouch of coins for passage. Shay watched the conversation as he carried their bags to the baggage pile. "That's the last o'them" Shay assured as the carriage driver looked back. Upon hearing that the bags had been unpacked, he spurred the horse on and slowly came out of view, blending in with the people and carriages inland. Sailors from the ship had begin boarding their bags onboard already.

Haytham was done with his chat with the captain as he nodded towards Shay to follow onto the frigate. "Bags are being stored onboard as we speak" Shay confirmed, walking behind the Grandmaster on the narrow plank. "Good, I have bought us passage and secured some free time for combat training like last time." Came a smooth voice from in front of him. "Very good, Sir." Shay replied stepping off the gangplank, following Haytham up to the captain who was stood at the wheel, talking to his first mate.

Haytham politely cleared his throat to get the captain's attention which worked as the man politely dismissed his first mate and turned to the two Templars. "What can I do for you Mr. Kenway?" He asked. "This, is Shay Cormac, my associate. He will be travelling with us. When are we due to set sail may I ask?" Haytham enquired, cool as ever. "Welcome Shay, Should be in an hour's time, Tis a long journey there unfortunately, could take anywhere from six to fourteen weeks." The captain said shaking the Irishman's hand. "As expected, Where might our sleeping quarters be?" Shay piped up, much to Haytham's surprise. "Well, Master Kenway here booked passage with a cabin for both of your sleeping arrangements." Shay smiled and nodded a thanks as turned to follow Haytham who was already making his way below deck.

----- Two weeks later. -----

The sound of steel rung through the air. "Block Shay!" Haytham shouted as he swung his sword high and brought it down on the Templar. Shay thrust his sword in front of him to take the incoming blow. Both swords clashed and met with metallic clang. Shay filled the gap between the two and shoved Haytham back in attempt to unbalance him. Haytham had predicted this attack from Shay and hopped backwards with a small smirk. Haytham then lunged both his body and sword forwards towards Shay who gracefully deflected his attack.

Haytham and Shay paced round in a guarded circle, both men anticipating an attack from the other. Haytham now panting, took this time to control his breathing to continue the fight should Shay try and attack again. Haytham was ready for another round but was starting to struggle. The other man was much younger and more nimble then himself. "Have y'had enough 'old man?'" Shay teased with a cocky grin.

"Enough of that 'old man' shit lest I bend you over my knee!" Haytham quip back. Flustered from the suggestive remark, Haytham would definitely follow through on, Shay dropped his guard and Haytham immediately took advantage of this. He dropped the sword in his hand which landed on the wood floor with a clatter and grabbed Shay by his waist and shoulder. He swept a leg behind the Irishman and tripped him up, Shay falling to the ground and landing with a thud. Haytham only stood above him with a smug grin.
