Chapter Two: Let's go scare people off with our masks (part 1)

Y/N's POV

I finally finish this mod, l quickly posted it on Twitter with how to download info. I look at the time, it's already 2:30 pm, huh, guess l didn't sleep for another night again.

I quickly and roughly clean up my desk, thinking about what l'll wear to meet up with 'Dream'.

Taking a quick shower, l realized l still have some time left.

"Maybe l'll go early to the cafe and wait for Dream, and l get to scare more people! Pfft, l am totally gonna do this with Dream and have him secretly record people's reaction!" I said to myself, putting on my Famous Question mark mask on, and an extra smiley one for 'Dream', l left the house and locking the door behind me.

Their reaction is so priceless!!! There's a few different types of reaction in general:

One, they would stare at me like l am a freak or l am going to rob a bank or something

Two, they are coming up to me asking if l am okay or not because it seems like to them l am very uncomfortable with sharing my looks, thinking l have a extremely low amount of self esteem

Three, they would freak out and ask if l can take a picture and posted it on social media

Suddenly, my phone ring, and l see this is a message from 'Dream', l grinned, knowing exactly why he message me.

"Dust!!! DUST!!!!!! Dude!! I just saw my idol standing outside the cafe we're gonna met up in!!!!!!" - Dream

"Really? Do you mean the person in the question mark mask?" - Y/N

"YEAHHHH!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!! How the heck are you NOT freaking out right now?!!!!!!" - Dream

"What is there to freak out about? They is just a normal person like you, go up and say hi like a normal person, l am sure they won't mind." - Y/N

"Are you CRAZY!!!!! I can't just go up like that!!!! And l am suppose to meet up with you not them!!!!!" - Dream

"I am not mentally prepare for this..." - Dream

"What's the big deal about this guy? Why are they so famous?" - Y/N

"Are you kidding me? You don't know about U/N?!!!!! They are like the best and biggest Mine-Craft YouTuber right now!!!! But yesterday they decided to quit YouTube cause of the pressure people put on them about making new content, it's really sad that they feel like this for long time and no one notice it, they did a good job at hiding it to be honest." - Dream

"Oh well, you can't do much about it, you can still re watch their past videos, it's still there, right?" - Y/N

"Yeah... But anyways, where are you? I am already inside the cafe right, look for a eighteen years old with dirty blonde hair and green eyes, l am wearing a dark green hoodie right now." - Dream

"Oh, l see you. Hold on, l am coming in wearing a mask that cover most of my face except for my mouth." - Y/N

Waking in the cafe, l stare at 'Dream', letting him soaked up the information. I grinned and give him a little wave.

"Hi there Dream, l am Dusty347, or would you prefer to call me U/N or Y/N?"

Clay/Dream's POV

I am beyond shocked right now, U/N... THE U/N is Dusty347, the person l am meeting up with to prove that l am right to trust them.

Okay, don't freak out, it's just your number one idol talking to you, it's no big deal, it's not like you dream of being like them when you got to their age......

Okay, never mind, l gonna faint.

"Dreammm! You okay there? Helloooo? Earth to the Dreamscape!!!!" Y/N wave their hand in front of my face.

"wha-what? Hun? OH! Oh my god!!! I am so sorry for spacing out!!!" I wave my hand around nervously. I can't believe l just space out like that!!!!! What is happening to me?!!! I am usually a chill dude, not like this!!!!

"Chill Dream, it's alright. Judging by your fanboying earlier, l know this is a bit overwhelming for you. I still remember what l was like when l first meet the person l look up to, just take a deep breath." Y/N said, giving me a reassure smile and sitting down in front of me.

"Now, let's start over. Hi, my name is Y/N, you might know me as U/N or in your case, Dusty347." Y/N said, holding their hand out for me to shake.

"Clay, you know me as Dream, it's a pleasure meeting you!" I said, smiling as l shake Y/N's hand.

"So, l am sure you have a ton of questions right now, and l told you that once we've met, we'll find a more private place to continue. So, follow me, l know a good place to go. Oh! And put this on, you'll love it." Y/N said as they hand me a white mask like their's, except mine have a smiley on it.

I gasped, and took the mask and carefully out it on. Surprisingly, l can still see and breath pretty clearly. Welp, there's goes a bunch of my questions.

"Now, let's go! Let me show you how it does it feel like watch people's reaction toward people like us!!!" Grinning, Y/N got up and walk outside waiting for me.

I also got up, pay for the drink l already order, and walk outside following Y/N.

While we are walking, we have some small chat between ourselves, Y/N is actually a really interesting guy, you never know how their emotions work. One moment their are all happy, exciting like a child, the next thing you know they are acting like the coolest, the most chill guy you have ever seen. You can never figure out their actual personality.

"So Dream, you are a grown man now, ever think about what you want to do for a living?" Y/N asked, waving to a couple of girls who are squealing by seeing Y/N in real life.

"Well, it have always been my dream to be a huge YouTuber like you, but seeing what happened to you now... I don't really know any more..." I said, while looking away.

We have reached where Y/N wanted to go, it was a beach. It's sunset right now, it looks beautiful, but l am not really in the mood right now after what l just said.

"Hey Dream, are you okay with me touching you?" Y/N suddenly asks.

"Yeah? I am okay with that, as long as it's not weird or anything, no homo." I answer.

As soon as l said that, Y/N hug me. I am so shocked, l just froze for like a few second before relaxing and returning the hug.

After we let go, Y/N look around, seeing as nobody is here right now. They took off their mask.

"Don't other people's decision change your's, Dream. That dream of your's is wonderful and l am glad to inspired you to do this, if you ever need any help, l am more then willing to help you out!" Y/N said, giving me a smile.

I smile as well, it feels like Y/N is that big sibling figure l have always missing from my life, even if l just met them not too long ago.

"Now, all those sappy moment is dealt with, are you ready to go to some place where most likely a ton of people will recognize me and freak out like crazy?!!!" Y/N grinned, putting their mask back on, l have a smirk of my own.

"Heck yeah!!!"
