When I step out into the sunny parking lot, everyone is still waiting at the car. "Hey,"I smiled at them jogging up to the car, but I didn't get a response, instead everyone was staring at something behind me. After standing there awkwardly for a couple of moments I turned around to see what was happening. James was almost to us, showing off his very muscular biceps and forearms with his leather jacket in hand. I groan and slump my shoulders running to the car. He walks up to my window and signals for me to rolls it down.
"Can I help you?" I ask with a sickening sweet smile.
"Yes, I need a toe guide and I only know you, you get out of classes tomorrow to show me around and to eat anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the school, plus you get to spend the whole day with this," he steps back and gestures up and down his body.
"Hmm," I pretend to think,"How about no," I start to roll up my window but then get to thinking,"Will you be buying me lunch?" I ask
"Sure whatever," he rolls his eyes and walks away without acknowledging anyone else.

We pull into the diner and get out of the car, the whole ride over I stayed silent as they talked about the new "hot" boy James. Barf. "He was soooo adorable," Lila squeals, she never gets excited over a boy. Skylar is struggling to stay silent because Ethan is still here, and Ryan is smiling from ear to ear talking to Lila about James. I tune out and look at Ethan, he is also smiling, but not for the same reason. He thinks that Skylar is staying quiet because she doesn't like James. When I look at Skylar she looks like she is in pain, she never stays quiet. Her face is red and I turn around before she sees me laughing.
"Ok babe I have to go," Ethan gives her a peck on the lips before rushing off to football practice.
"O TO THE M TO THE FREAKING G," Skylar squeal when Ethan is out of earshot,"HE WAS THE HOTTEST BEDEST THING IVE EVER SEEN!"
The three of them gossip about him while I walk inside to get a table. We sat in a booth in the corner and all for order shakes, mine chocolates, Skylars Strawberry, and Lilas and Ryan's vanilla.
"Ok, so after practices tomorrow we are dress shopping for the springfling, right?"Skylar asks looking at each of our face for approval, we all nod at her.
