Oblivious (Hogwarts x reader)

The choice

Getting up in the morning is usually such a chore, you have to open your eyes, bring yourself to move, and even get out of bed! But today, all of that comes easily. Today, I'm going back to hogwarts!!! ...although I have to admit after I get out of bed I immediately want to crawl back in..OH WELL, SUCK IT UP Y/N!
I skip downstairs and make myself a quick breakfast.

                            •Platform 9¾•
On this day each year, for three straight years I have run into this wall..so why does it still scare me? I guess your mind never really gets used to the thought of running directly at a stone wall.
"Okay.."
I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and sprint towards platform 9/3....I totally miss the wall and instead ended up running directly into someone's trolley. Why do I have to crash into things every 2 minutes? WHY???
I tumble forwards and end up lying on the ground, funny, this is usually how I meet people...However, I look up to see no one is there. Instead, I hear a familiar voice come from a few feet to the side.
"Y/N!"
I look towards the voice, and gasp.
"CEDRIC!!!"
I hurriedly run towards him and take a leap of faith. He catches me and squeezes my waist so tight I think I might faint.
"I missed you."
I mumble, my voice muffled by his shirt.
He laughs and spins me round.
"Did you like the paper animals?"
I untangle my ligaments so that I may stand on my own. Rummaging through my pockets I say,
"Yes, I did! They are SO cute!"
I pull out the paper puppy he had sent me the day before, it immediately snuggles Cedrics cheek.
I look up at him. I really have missed him, it's hard being away from your best friend for so long.
"I've thought about you lots"
He says, taking out a piece of paper. With a wave of his wand it turns into a elegant butterfly. The creature takes flight, doing circles around his head before landing on my nose. I go cross eyed trying to look at it.
"Have you?"
I say, wrapping my arm around his waist in a half hug sort of fashion. The butterfly ventures off into the distance, he smiles at this and begins to walk us through platform 9¾. We come out the other side, greeted by the scenery. Students saying goodbye to their family's, some already boarding the train, the mothers of First years wiping a couple tears away.
I wonder if the Weasleys are somewhere among this crowd.
"Say...Y/N?"
I look up at Cedric, who seems to be focused on something in the distance.
"Yes? What is it?"
"Are you perhaps familiar with..."
He points to a waving family of red heads.
"Them?"
I immediately recognize the crowd.
"The Weasleys!!"
I smile brightly at them.
"Oh, Cedric! You simply MUST meet them!! Very exciting people they are."
I say, dragging him towards the family.

Molly is the first one the go in for a hug.
"Ah, Y/N! How wonderful to see you, we've been keeping an eye out for ya."
She gestures to the rest of her family.
Percy looks to the side, avoiding my gaze. The twins however, take no time at all to push Cedric away, and place their arms on both my shoulders.
"E'llo Darling."
Fred winks.
"Miss us?"
George wiggles his eyebrows.
"All right all right, enough!"
Ron huffs, pulling the boys off me.
"Hello, Ron!"
I smile at him.
"You look rather adorable, you know..with this mop of vibrant hair, it matches the red tinted cheeks!"
I say, poking at his hair.
My words seem to have an affect on him, his eyes must have grown twice the size, and he backs away quietly.

Cedric coughs.
"Oh,yes! Everyone..this is Cedric!"
I usher him to stand in front of everyone.
George looks at him, slightly concerned.
"Uh...your boyfriend?"
He asks.
Ginny chokes on her drink.
"What? Oh, no. He's my best friend. I've never been in a uh...romantic relationship."
I say awkwardly.
Cedric scoots away from the family, back to my side.
"I can change tha- OW!!"
George elbows Fred in the stomach, and mutters something under his breath.

I am about to say something, but the train whistle breaks the awkward silence instead.
"Oh! Loves, you must be off!!!Go on, quickly now!"
Mrs Weasley hurries us towards the train. After saying our goodbyes, we make our way inside.

We stick together as a group, but since there isn't enough room for all of us in a single compartment, we take time to decide who is going with who.

"Ah, George and I would LOVE to do the honours."
"Ey! You two would probably have them begging to be let out in the first 5 minutes!"
Ginny states.
"Would not!"
"Would too" says Ron.
"You could always sit with me and Ron, Y/N."
Ginny grins gently.
"That's all very good bu-"
You start.
Percys voice comes from the back of the group.
"I uh..suppose I wouldn't mind your company Y/N. That is if you would like to share with me."
Cedric looks over to a girl, not far away.
"Uh, yeah. Whatever you want Y/N, your choice."
Oh Merlin..who am I going to sit with?

The twins would be fun, ENTERTAINING , rather attractive actually..but after a while I'm sure they could get annoying.

Ron and Ginny are good friends, they are nice, and excellent listeners, such ADORABLE personalities..but they could be bland..maybe even a little boring on such a long trip.

Percy is cute, with his curls and all. From my experience he is polite and orderly..when on a trip with him there is a chance we could really BOND....but he might also be uptight.

Cedric is my best friend, he is kind, our CHIT CHAT would be interesting..however, he seems a wee bit preoccupied by girl watching, at the moment.

"Well, you all are so lovely but I think I will be sitting with....."
