weird things that would have been better in my opinion in harry potter

The Hogwarts Express

It is a wonderful piece of the series but why are the best of society 'noble purebloods' travelling by a nasty muggle invention. Especially if it's just to allow them to make new friends and enemies and meet the new students then they could have a flying carpet enlarged to the biggest size possible and covered it in invisibility enchantments or not-notice-me charms. They could also do the Bulgarian idea with the ship or the French idea with the carriages. And if they were catering to muggleborns then they could just use a ship and have it go under like a sub or they could even use a SUBMARINE instead!
