The lady in the picture is phila ndwandwe from South Africa. She join Nelson Mandela insurrectional army umkhonto wesizwe (MK) in 1980s, trained with guns and participated in many field actions. She was captured in 1985 by the white apartheid police, tortured for days and humiliated. They asked her to become a double agent for the white regime. She refused. They took her outside and shot her in the face with her baby.
