Hello, my name is Rose and it's summer break currently. Yesterday was my last day of college until next year of course. Right now I'm heading to Starbucks to meet up with my best friend Catalina. Starbucks is our favorite place to hangout in our little town. I parked my car and killed the engine almost immediately after pulling up and parking near starbucks.

I locked my car and headed inside of the little store on the right side of the road. I went straight up to the cashier of Starbucks to order Catalina and I some drinks without even looking around the store first. But Catalina is always late. "Hey sweetie, what can I get for you?" The lady who looks to be around the age of thirty asked behind the counter. "I would like two large Caramel Frappé's please" I said giving her a warm smile.

"That will be $10.25" she said smiling at me. I pulled a twenty dollar bill out of my pocket and handed it to the lady. She took the money and started pushing the buttons on the computer and then the cash register came open. She then put the twenty dollar bill in the register and gathered my change to give back to me. The sweet lady handed my change back to me and said "Go grab a seat I'll call you up when the order is done hun".

"Ok thanks, and my name is Rose" I said to her as she smiled and began to make the drinks for my order. I walked away from the counter to find a table with two seats for Catalina and I. Soon I sat down at a square table with four seats with high stools. Once I sat down I whipped out my phone to text Catalina and at that moment she came walking through the door of the little store. I waved at her with my arm in the air for her to see me.

As soon as she spotted me she came walking towards me in a slight rush. "Hey Rose" she said her smile bright as can be. "Hey Catalina" I said giving her a smile back. "Rose!" I heard my name being called and I turned around quickly and seen the lady with Catalina and I's drinks. I turned back around and smiled at Catalina as I got up and walked over to the lady.

"Thank you" I said smiling as I grabbed the drinks from her. "You're welcome sweetheart" she said smiling and turning around. I walked back to the table where Catalina was sitting and I sat her drink in front of her. I then took a seat across from her and we both started drinking our Frappè's. "So how has my bestfriend been doing lately?" I asked Catalina as I continued to sip on my drink here and there.

"Good, how about you?" She asked having the biggest smile on her face that I have ever seen. "Good and why are you all smiley for?" I asked raising my eyebrows and staring at her. "You should come over and stay at my house tonight" she said changing the subject quickly but still smiling like a crazy goofball. "Oh my gosh!" I said still focusing on why she's so happy. "What?" She said still smiling like she committed a crime or something.

"It's a guy, I know it!" I said crossing my arms and giving her a knowing look. Plus I knew that I was right because the last time she was this happy it was because of a guy she was talking to at that time. She didn't even reply she hid her face so quick away from me because it was so red. "Aw is my little Catalina embarrassed" I cooed to her like a baby. She just smiled like a lunatic.

"Oh and yea I'll come and stay and then we can talk about this guy" I said smiling at her. Then I realised my Frappè was gone and so was Catalina's drink. We then both got up and threw our cups away. "See you later" she said smiling as I smiled back and nodded my head in a confirmation nod. She walked down the sidewalk as I unlocked my car. I then hopped in my car and started it. After I started it I decided to head towards my house.

As I started towards my house I started thinking. 'Im happy for Catalina but I'm definitely twenty times prettier than her.' 'My brown hair beats her blonde and black mixed hair not to mention my hair is almost to my ass and hers is barely hitting her shoulders'. 'Dont get me wrong shes my bestfriend but im prettier out of us two'.

Damn Rose isnt happy for her bestfriend.
