hunted down

episode 3

I ran around this dungeon for a while, collecting more pearls and making more eyes of ender so I could complete the portal. Only a few more before I could finally be done with this. As I got the last pearl, I heard someone behind me, trying to attack. Without hesitation, I spin around and slice towards the steps. It was Bad.  I missed by only a little bit as he jumped back. "Damn it Bad!" I holler, knowing it annoys him and it caught him off guard. 

"LANGUAGE!" he yells before I dig my sword into his stomach. He looks down, shook, then looks back up at me. "Don't finish off George." he says before he falls to the ground, bleeding heavily. I get my sword back from him and fix my armor with his. I run back to the portal room, thinking of what he said before he died.

I placed the last eye of ender in and jump in. An advancement was made (the end?). It truly was the end. I walk towards the pillars and saw a bunch of endermen and in the center of the circle of pillars was a structure of some sorts. One more advancement was made. It said the same thing as mine did. George had made it to the end with me. I grabbed a bow from my inventory and began to shoot at the crystals. I heard someone call out my name and saw George running at me. Pinning me down, George was furious. 

"YOU KILLED THEM ALL! I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU!" he shouted. He grabbed his sword and tried to stab me with it. I felt bad but knocked him off. 

Grabbing my sword, I looked at him with a sad expression and pointed it to him. "George I'm sorry." I say teary eyed. Before I could kill him, he got knocked over by an enderman. The enderman hit him in the head, making him unconscious. It gave me time to kill the ender dragon. 

I finished off the end crystals and began to start hurting the dragon. It flew down to the statue thing and I ran towards it. I hit it a few times and it was almost dead. The dragon flew away and I was stuck waiting again for it to come back down. This was it. 

My final blow at the dragon. It felt so great. The victory. I laughed in relief. I heard someone walking my way. It wasn't an endermen foot either. "you finally did it... You killed the dragon." He said. Swinging his blade at me, I looked over to him.

"WHAT THE HELL?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" I shouted. He laughed chaotically as he closed in towards me. "I KILLED YOU! IN FRONT OF BAD AND GEORGE!"

"no you didn't you only majorly injured me. But I came back. George and bad never came back to really make sure I was dead. And I can see you hesitated to kill George. I wonder why, Dream."

I was shocked. Why was Sapnap in front of me, talking perfectly fine? Before I could say anything, I felt the coldness of his sword. Before I could do anything, I felt Sapnap being shoved off me. There stood George. But why? I killed his friend and almost killed him. But I took advantage of it and ran off. Sapnap tried to follow me but I jumped off the ledge and threw a pearl. I teleported behind him and threw him off. He fell off, not making a noise to signal he landed.

"Dream? What are we doing here?" George asked.

"What? What do you mean?"

"Why are we here? You should be back in Florida. What was happening with Sapnap? Where's Bad?" He had so many questions.

"You don't remember? Just a second ago you were trying to kill me!"

"What do you mean? Are you okay?"

"What? I don't know. Don't you remember a few days ago when we first met?"

"We've known each other way more than just a few days. Did something happen to us?"

"I think. How long have you known the others?"

"For a while as well. why?" He asked. We went silent and I waited for him to realize as tear begin to flood. 

"I didn't mean it. I didn't mean to hurt them..."

"YOU KILLED BAD AND SAPNAP? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! And to Think I even had a thing for you."

"You did?" I asked before he threw himself at me again. "George calm down buddy. It's me... Dream. Your old friend." I tried to get him off of me. Soon, I began to just give up. I felt terrible. I deserved it... Right? For killing George's friends. I gave in and let him do whatever.

After realizing what he was doing, he got off. He began to walk to the edge of the portal. "Where is Bad's body?" He asked.

"What? His body? Why?"

"I need to see him one last time."

"Before the portal room... I'm sorry, George."

He jumped through and I sat for a while. I felt like I was empty. I couldn't move either. It was like I had no control. Nothing did. Sooner or later I got up, looking over the edge. I sigh and walk to the portal. I jump through and I'm placed back in the place we started. I remember first waking up here and seeing Sapnap walking over to me.

I remember first meeting the others. I began to cry as I heard a voice. "two players remain. Congrats. I wasn't expecting for a hunter and a runner to both survive. Your prizes will be what ever you wish. But you can't wish for more wishes. And no repeats. Your wish will show up for the other player. Runner will go first." The voice explained. I'm guessing George heard it too.

I sigh and think of what to say. "I wish..... I wish for Sapnap and Badboyhalo to be alive again."

A massage showed up in front of me. "are you sure?" It read.

"Yes... I'm sure."

A board showed up near by me. It had my name and George on it, showing my wish next to my name. Not too long something came up on the board next to George's.

"I wish for my friends back... Please?" It read. "Wish denied. Please wish for something else." Not too long after, something else came up. "I want everyone to remember everything about our friendship."

"Wishes granted." Was the last thing I saw before all of the texts disappeared. I felt someone walk up to me. "What's up Dream!" I heard a voice. It was Sapnap. I was nervous that he would attack me. But he didn't. "You good bro? You're acting weird."

I look back and smile lightly at him. "Yeah... I'm fine." I murmur. "I just got I small injury." I say as I have my hand over a scratch in my lime hoodie. It was bleeding badly.

"The hell happened?"

"It's a long story...." I grab some bandages and start wrapping them around the wound. We sat and I began to explain to him everything that happened. As I'm explaining, George and Bad began to walk towards us.

"DREAM I HAD THE CRAZIEST DREAM!" Bad called.

-editors note. Hi! I may make a alternate ending if you guys want. But if I end up not doing that, then this will be the last chapter. I know it's not very long. I may make a sequel showing what happened after or something like that. Idk. We'll find out in the future
