Chapter 1: Death Always Comes Knocking

I was on my way to meet my friends on the bleachers when I saw a seller holding a red balloon; I jumped remembering my past and how I lost Eddie and Richie. I walked faster and soon made it to my friends, It was about half an hour into the ball game when I saw the balloon again, my friends didnt.

When it was half time we got up and walked to the food stand and I heard a scream, I turned around and I saw him; the Clown that killed my closest friends. He walked closer to me, grabbing me by my hips; I was too shocked to move. Everything went dark and I fainted.

When I came to, the sky was black and I was drenched in blood, whether it was my own was the though running through my head. I looked up to see two blue eyes and I was startled, but I was scared, the eyes were soft and looked concerned. When I took a glance at his full face he was no longer the scary being that killed my soul when I was a child.

Rose are you awake?

His voice came out as soft as a cloud, I couldnt speak, I just nodded sitting up. He held out his hand and I pushed it away knowing in my own mind that he was evil.

Im just trying to help you Rose.

I finally spoke: How could you help me when you killed my closest friends. He made a face that I registered as sad and that confused me.

That was not me that was Pennywise, he is the evil side of me I'm Alexander.

He smiled as I frowned Why am I here?

Because I have been watching you and your trying to end your own life! I scoffed in response.

So what? Why do you care? I said, laced with sarcasm yet curiosity.

He picked me up off the ground into his lanky arms and walked to a building with me in hand. I didnt fight, he looked like he was royalty; everyone we passed either bowed or talked about how I was his new pet.

What, do you not like being touched by someone who has killed before even though you can't say anything about it? I didnt respond and he chuckled under his breath.
