Chapter 2: Guys Can Change But Monsters Can't

As I walked into the building, she was curled into herself in my arms; either asleep or her will had given in. When I walked into my room, I placed Rose on the bed with her eyes were wide in fear and anxiety, she was frozen.

I put a blanket over her before walking into the restroom to begin getting un-dressed. When I looked in the mirror to see my own reflection, I saw my chest had her blood on it. I though she mustve scraped her knee when we landed in my realm. I took my finger and wiped it across her blood. As I smelt it I saw my eyes flash to yellow before me in the mirror, I couldnt control myself; I licked it. I felt myself begin to settle and calm. I heard a knock at the door, I grabbed the handle and opened it a crack to see it was Rose standing there looking confused.

Yes Rose?

She looked dazed and disoriented.

Do you have a bathtub and some clothes I could borrow?

I nodded looking down and thats when I saw her knee, It was bruised badly and still bleeding.

I need to get a shower first then you can use the bath.

She didnt respond and pushed the door open wider to enter, walking over to the faucet, she turned the knob, turning the water on.

Remembering I was nakedRose I'm naked you cant be in here. Jumping when she turned toward my direction where I stand nude.

So, I'm your pet I will eventually be used sexually so I dont mind.

She started striping her clothes off of herslf, I turned until she got in and I walked closer to the running water in the shower.

I would never do that to you maybe all these other demons but not me.

She seemed taken back by what I said but I just got in the shower. When I was done Rose was still in the bathtub.

Rose what clothes would you like?

She shrugged and I turned towards the door to get her some clothes to wear and she screamed.

DONT GO!

I turned back around to see her starting to cry, tear stained cheeks.

Whats wrong I'm just going to get your clothes?

She had tears running down her face.

I cant be alone.

I smiled and walked closer to the tub. She froze as I got on my knees on the floor outside the tub, sticking my hand over the tub and grabbing the soap.

W-what are you doing? she spoke nervously.

I'm helping you so that way you can get out and change and so I can go to sleep.

She nodded pulling her hair out of the bun it was in while I grabbed the shampoo and a cup with water from the faucet in it. I wet her hair, rubbing the shampoo in and I felt her relax into my touch.

Rose why do you hate me so much? All you ever talk about is Eddie and Richie and how my monster killed them. But I'm not him. He is just a piece of me,the one that I hate.

She locked her eyes with mine.

Because you were the one who turned into Pennywise.

I chuckled.

If thats how you see me then I will just have to act like him, wont I?

Her face tensed as I roughly grabbed her and pulled her out of the tub. Grabbing a towel I wrap it around her and drug her to the closet by hand. I put her in ripped clothing that were more revealing than the clothes she had been wearing.

W-why are you-

Before she could finish her sentence, I pushed my lips against hers.

I told you that if you saw me as the monster, I will have to act like one. Now, would you like Alexander or Pennywise?

She was shaking as she spoke.

A-alexander."

I nodded, grabbing a hoodie and sweatpants and handing them to her.

Can you tell me where I will be sleeping?

I nodded pointing to my bed.

We have to share!

Her voice was angry yet confused.

Yes. Please dont put up a fight.

I felt my own hunger, my eyes turning the familiar yellow.

Are you hungry Alex?

I nodded holding my breath.

Take my blood or maybe some of my flesh.

I quickly turned to meet her eyes with mine.

I will never feed off of you, even if it kills me. I promised myself after I killed your friends that I wouldnt hurt anyone else. I didnt know that you were in their group that day"
