Jaws 5

Chapter 2

Unsettling wind binds past the beaches of San Diego. Many people gathered in the ocean, summer was ending. Many chills were arriving, hence the unsettling winds, but something odd was the chills beneath them.

Normally in San Diego the waters are cold, but this was something special. Like something was moving down underneath them. They still had no clue, but something was down under there. Something rising. Bubbles had rose to the surface, some people started to realize it, but since the summer was ending, no one gave a damn. One specific individual thought it would be funny to show off for the ladies and pour his beer can down the ocean.

"Bottom's up, fishies." he said, not being the wisest, for there was something moving closer. And closer. And then it reached a few feet from the surface. Then it reached out and grabbed the individual's foot.

The individual screamed. The thing moved to the surface proving to be a human. "Not funny," he sniffled."I was showing off for the ladies." The girls giggled and swam off. "Nice going, Wilson."

"Eh, it's not my fault you can't have fun anymore. Anyways, did you hear Nine Inch Nails' new album, Teddy?" asked the rather plump Wilson.

"Ew, Nine Inch Nails? Try staying updating and get Pearl Jam!" responded the flexing Teddy.

A pair of girls from earlier swim back up to the men. "Catch you at the fire, boys." said one.

The other girl said, "Maybe after we could take it to my house. Catch a few drinks..."

Teddy responded immediately with, "Yeah, let's do that."

"Teddy, shouldn't we think this through? Hey Teddy, wait up!" said Wilson.

The beer can, still falling to the ocean floor, hit something smooth, slender, and long. It had reached the bottom. But the bottom was rough from the coral, not smooth. As it turns out, the can did not hit the coral. The thing it had hit flicked open one eye.
