Oscar and I have been married for 2 years, I had just given birth to my daughter Selena rose Diaz 3 months ago. My postpartum recovery has been hectic I put on a few pounds and been feeling a little insecure about myself but luckily Oscar has been my side and made me feel beautiful no matter what I look like. The Freeridge fair was in town and Oscar and I decided to have our first date since the birth. I picked up my phone and texted Cesar and then Sad Eyez to have them come over and babysit Selena while we were out. I would just have Cesar babysit but he's only 15 I wanted to have an adult help him out plus it made me more comfortable cause i trusted Sad Eyez a little bit more because he had a kid of his own so I had somewhat of an idea on how to take care of a baby. It was 6:00 pm I just got done getting ready for the night ahead. And so did Oscar.

(Your outfit^) The door bell rang you made your way to the door and opened it to reveal your brother in law Cesar and Oscar's best friend Sad Eyez. "Great you're Both on time! Come in" you said. Both of them did as you said and sat on the couch. "BABE ARE YOU READY?" You yelled out to your husband. "Yeah" oscar answered walking in the living room with Selena in his arms awake. "Oh she's awake good!" You said. Oscar greeted his brother and friend. "Okay before we go make sure you feed her in an hour I left already made bottles in the fridge all you have to do is take off the top and put it in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds, after she drinks the bottle burp her and then you can set her in her swing there's diapers and wipes in the hall closet...call us if you need anything!" You instructed as Oscar stood behind you. The boys nodded at your instructions. "Alright bye foos don't fuck it up!" Oscar teased. Arriving at the fair you held Oscar's hand as y'all made your way around. Then something caught your attention it was your ex boyfriend James he noticed you and began to walk in your guy's direction. "Who's this dude?" Oscar whispered to you. "My ex..." you replied. "Wassup y/n how've you been?" He said completely ignoring Oscar. "Uhhh good" you responded. "Damn you really let yourself go from the last time I saw you" he said. You felt your face get warm as you looked down. Oscar was not having it he let go of your hand and stepped closer to James with his fists clenched. You put your arm In front of Oscar and said "it's okay papi people can be mean!". "Nah nobody talks to you like that" Oscar answered in a blunt voice. You can tell he was in "Spooky mode" . "Who the fuck are you??" James said in a jerky tone. "Her husband and I don't appreciate you talking to my girl like that!!" Oscar said to him. "Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it" James spoke out again. Next thing you know Oscar was throwing punches as James fell to the ground but then he got back up and started to punch back. "BABE STOP!!" You said trying to pull Oscar away to stop the fight. He ignored you and continued to fight. This of course started a crowd. It got the security's attention they hurried in and broke up the fight. They escorted you and Oscar out of the fair as well as James in the other direction to a different direction. You held on to his arm with your cheek against his bicep. The rest of the car ride was silent soon arriving to y'all's house Oscar parked in the driveway. And both got out making your way to the front door you opened it and went inside to see Sad Eyez and Cesar knocked out on the couch with Selena in Cesar's arm asleep as well. You and Oscar both looked at each other at the same time and silently laughed. "WAKEY WAKEY biatch !" Oscar said. They both woke up at the same time as Selena still asleep. 30 minutes go by and you and your husband just got down putting your baby back to sleep. You got in bed as he did the same, you looked over to him and said " thank you for what you did tonight I love you so much papi". "No problem I'll shank somebody before they talk crap about you next time!" Oscar said following a chuckled. You smiled and shook your head as you both leaned in for a loving kiss.
