Catherine's Pov

It was October 12 the day that the NLCS was going to start. I was so nervous and I couldn't contain it. But my brother had a big confidence that we were going to advance to the World Series.

I woke up and then I heard Cody say "today is the day big sister" and then I said "we are going to win no doubt" and then Cody agreed with me.

I took a shower and then I changed into a bellinger jersey ready to support him and support the team. "You look so good sister" Cody said "thank you little brother" I said.

Then we heard a knock on the door and it was Corey and his girlfriend maddy.

"Good morning guys" Corey said

"Good morning Corey and maddy" I said

"Catherine are you ready to go" maddy asked me and I nodded my head.

Maddy and I are so close. We have good chemistry and we trust each other in whatever problems we have.

"Are we going to that restaurant that you told me the other day" I asked and she nodded her head.

"You haven't talked to anyone lately Catherine" maddy asked me. I sighed and said "no I haven't and it's hard to find a man that is going to treat me right and special and appreciate me and not use me for my money. That's the type of man I deserve and need" I said

"I agree it's hard to find one these days" maddy said and then I said "i mean I'm not desperate to find a boyfriend but I do need company and love you get me"

"I hope you find a boyfriend soon and when it happens tell me okay" maddy said

"I hope someone comes in my life soon but it's when god wants" I said and then maddy agreed with me.

Then we ate breakfast and then we went to the mall to go shopping and when we finished it was already 3:20 pm and then I said "holy shit it's almost 3:30 and we still here we need to hurry up. Then Maddy said "we need to go or we going to be late"

We rapidly took a Uber to the hotel and we got there in 15 minutes.

"I thought y'all were not going to come anymore" Cody said

"I'm sorry we were busy shopping" and Maddy and I laughed.

"Where's Corey at" maddy asked

"Your boyfriend left since when. He got tired of waiting for you" Cody said and he laughed and we just rolled his eyes at him.

"A bus is coming at 5 to take the families to the stadium so be ready by that time Catherine" maddy said

I'll be ready maddy" I said and then we said our goodbyes

"What time are y'all leaving" I asked Cody

"Right now at 4 so I'm going to get ready" Cody said and he went to the restroom to change.

It was 4 already and we said our goodbyes. I had one hour left until we left to the stadium.

It was 4:48 and maddy sent me a text saying that if I was ready. I responded that I was ready. Then she texted me to go outside already.

"Hey girl" I said to Maddy that was already outside the hotel.

"Let's go in" maddy said and I said "I thought the bus was coming at 5 I wasn't expecting that to be the bus" and then we went in

"It's nice seeing you again with the wags Catherine" Courtney Justin turners wife said

"I'm happy I get to hang out with you ladies again" I said
