"So how are you?" I asked sheepishly. I was scared he would think I was crazy coming back though he had bread in his hand so he must of been getting into trouble. But for an odd reason I didn't mind. I was so deep in my thoughts I didn't feel Naruto tapping my shoulder roughly. For some reason this kid was super energetic.
"What do you want?" I asked in a harsh tone. Though it looked like the boy didn't mind he still had that devilish grin on his face.
"Well I just got done with splitting the bread ya know." "It's really good want some?" He asked. I was about to say no but before I could he had it down my throat.
"What was that for" I said in a weird muffled tone. It was mostly the bread in my mouth.
"I knew you were gonna say no you look like that type." Naruto said. "That's a cool back pack!" "were did you get it?". "No were" I said plainly I didn't want to get to involved. "Ahh I see" Naruto said. "Hey a got an idea!" Naruto said excitedly "Why dont we go to the movies!" "The movies?" " Why there?" I asked "Why not?" Naruto said "It's just I go there all the time with my friends." "No way" "You have friends." "How many?" Naruto asked dumfounded
"What kind of question is that!" I shouted. Has this boy ever had a friend. "I never had a friend before." "But you changed that.." Naruto said in a kind of sad tone. "I'm sorry I just.." "Listen we just met so I'm not gonna say that were friends but just some people that know each other." "You got it" " Not friends but we know each other. I don't like that sentence." " Just deal with it " I said in a kinda annoyed tone. " Race ya to the coffee shop. " '' Wait what -" " Come on! " Naruto said. I was trying to breath when a sweating naruto said " I win! " I wanted to say yeah I know but I couldn't speak my heart was pounding so hard I wondered were he got all this stamina. " Wait-" is the only word I managed to get out of my tired self. " Yeah? " Naruto said I took a couple breaths and finally regained some strength to say " Who's gonna pay? ". His face when I asked the question was unbelievable. His smile quickly disappeared, his eyes wildly opened in shock. " Seriously you have no money. "
" Nope " he said plainly
Great he has no money and I bribed a stranger to get the cops attention so naruto wouldn't get arrested. What to do? I asked myself . " There's a ATM down the block I could walk there to get some money. " I said, " No don't it's okay" , " Never had coffee anyway. " . " Then I, ll be the first to by you a cup okay ! " , " I-". " Oh look at the time we better hurry befire it closes."
"This is so good have you tried it before ! " , " Yes and everyone I know has tried one so I was a little shocked hearing that you never tried this before. I mean it's coffee who in the world never tried coffee! Not trying to defend you in any way." . "Oh no it's fine alot of people just don't respect me like I respect them.". Is he serious he has to be joking. When I first met him he was so cheerful. It was almost like he was happy with his life. That's when I blurted out, " Your happy with your life right !? "
{ NARUTO'S P.O.V }
It was a sudden question but I was ready to answer it. " No"
[ NO ONE'S P.O.V ]
" What the hell?!" Sasuke said in an alarming tone, " What do you expect me to say 'yes' ! " Naruto said
" Yeah I did expect to here a yes ! cause I just can't except you saying no ! " , " What the hell ! If I said yes than I would be lying ! " Naruto said , " Don't say that ! You -"
" Just be quiet..." Naruto said calmly , " What ? your not the boss of me ! " Sasuke said still not excepting the fact that Naruto doesn't except life or his anyway.
