In the last year of high school...
Literally nobody asked for this, but I've been having so much fun experimenting with edits. So, before the banners come out, I wanted to show you all the character posters for the series.

I have to say, as the main protagonist, Dawn will always have a little special treatment from me. When I found this image, like most of the others, I had to edit both her hair and eye colours. I also paled her complexion and then reversed the colours of her jacket/jeans. I figured black denim would parallel the one she stole from Paul ;)

Honestly, this isn't my fave since it wasn't easy finding someone who resembled Paul. I still do find it cute that both he and Dawn have similar hand gestures though uwu

I feel like May looks the youngest in this set, but the image perfectly resembles her. With the ruffled hair, cheerful expression and Pocky, she looks like a friendly sweetheart with a side of hangry ;)

Drew's hair was such an interesting colour to pinpoint, I found it really fun. Combined with those classic roses, I actually really like this one. He do be looking like a moody boii

Aah, that orange hair was a nightmare to transform from the original pink. But I really like the water pattern used in this photo; it's perfect for her water-type loving character.

Look who finally grew! I would've preferred to find a character with spikey hair to resemble him more, but I thought the doughnut added to his personality a lot. Aha I also forgot to draw over the earring here, so let's all pretend he normally has a piercing :)
7. Leaf Verde

Literally my girl crush aha. This character was really nice to work with; I didn't have to alter her hair or eye colours so it was a smooth run. The only tricky thing here was making sure her colour scheme was a different shade to Drews'. Umm I also accidentally called her Green Verde in the first version... Which is "Green Green" lol.

Finishing up with this smug guy! I drew over the character's expression to give him more of a smirk compared to the original curious face. I like that the brown compliments him, but kind of wish there was more gold in that overlay.

That's it for now! I promise the next chapter will be plot content, but I hope you enjoyed looking through these edits. I found it quite therapeutic and satisfying to work through all these photos.
