Keira sat in the large bath tub thinking she must really have lost her mind. Agreeing to stay with Cinyras. Knowing he is a vampire and witnessing the violence he was capable off. But somehow she trusted him.

He could have left her back at Dan's office after he was freed. He had no need for her but he brought her along to protect her.

Apart from that he haven't tried to hurt her yet.

Being a vampire means he drinks blood to survive and he was in prison from thirty years without it. Still he didn't attack her the moment he was released.

She remembered the way he instructed her to bandage her finger after bleeding few drops for the spell. Now she understood why he was so overly concerned of such a small cut. He wanted it dried and covered so it wouldn't tempt him.

Few days ago she had a normal life with normal problems. Blessed with ignorance to anything supernatural.

Then came the mysterious stranger named Cinyras, to change everything in her life. He broke away all her beliefs and forced her eyes open to the brutal reality of supernatural world.

So yes. She did trust him. He may be a vampire but before that he was a noble man.

Keira found Cinyras standing by the tall window. He turned around when her heard her enter the room.

"I ordered lunch for you. Thought you must be hungry." he said gesturing towards the trolley table with multiple dishes on it. Completely ignoring the fact that she just dressed in a bath robe.

"Didn't know what would you like so I ordered a little bit of everything." he explained, strolling by her to sit on the bed.

"Thank you. That's very thoughtful of you." she said sitting down on the chair and trying to decide what to eat.

Maybe he was just trying to make her feel comfortable about her lack of proper clothing. So she must try to be comfortable or at least act like it didn't bother her to be in such state around him.

She chose the thick and aromatic chicken soup and dig in, realizing that she hasn't had anything in last twenty four hours.

After few mouthfuls she noticed Cinyras was watching her eat. He was lying on the bed, his legs stretched out and crossed at ankles. His hands laced together behind his head.

He has taken off his jacket and shoes at sometime she was in bathroom. He was so deliciously good looking that suddenly she felt hungry for more then food.

Suddenly he winked and she choked on the soup, coughing in the napkin.

"Are you alright little dark one?" he asked, humour lurking in his deep voice.

"Uh huh. I am fine." she said wiping her mouth.

"Eat." he said without moving a muscle.

She swirled the spoon in the soup then suddenly asked "Do you eat? I... I mean normal food."

"I can if I want to." he replied then added "I don't want to at the moment."

"Oh... Okay." she said still playing with her spoon.

"What's troubling you little dark one?" he asked still looking at her.

"I have so many questions." she said finally looking up at him again.

"Ask away."

"I don't know what to ask first. Only information I have about vampires are gained from movies or novels. I don't know what's true and what's wrong. I am just so confused."
