"DANCE" Book 1

Chapter 2: Waking up

As Evelyn slowly wakes up from being knocked out by a monster they've never seen before, Evelyn looks at Jackson to make sure he's okay, he is awake as well. She checks out the area, she's surprised! This wasn't where she was before! "What is this place..?" she says terrified. "I'm not sure... But we have to find a way out. Our friends have probably called the police!" Jackson responds

"You think you're going to get out?" A mysterious voice says with a psychotic laugh. "Wh-ho was that!?" Evelyn exclaims, scared to know if this is the end. "The name's demise. I've taken you hostage because your friend "Aries" has taken something from me, and I'm using you two lame-o's for bait."

    "Aries would never steal someone's things! Your delusional and crazy!" Evelyn yells at Demise "She took my cure away! Because of her I get treated like a monster in this form!" Demise snaps back. The room get's quiet for a second. Evelyn looks down at the floor, thinking "Could Aries actually be bad...?" She shakes her head. "No! She's helped me so much this past year! I won't believe it!" She thinks again. "We'll get out of here. Without them!" Jackson exclaims. "Good luck with that. Your tied to a chair! Please, don't flatter yourself." Demise tells him with a laugh.

   Demise looks at the broken clock on the wall. "Its 11:24, Ashe must be worried....I have to go." She thinks. "Alright losers. I have to go, I'll check on you two tomorrow to see if your still here. If your not dead." She says with a grin. "We will escape!" Yells Evelyn. Demise come to a full stop while walking out. "If you dare escape, I will look every inch on this earth and find you then rip you to shreds. Do you understand?" She says boldly. "We will call the police on you! You will be arrested you filthy hum-" Evelyn says while getting interrupted by Demise yelling "I am in crytion form. Three times the size of you puny humans. You think the police scares me!?"

  There's a silence in the room. Demise leaves the place in anger and Jackson and Evelyn look at each other in disappointment. "What are we going to do Eve? I mean, It's really hard to get out these ropes, it's almost impossible!" Jackson exclaims. "Everything will be fine... I'm looking around to see what we can do... For now just, calm down and wait." Evelyn assures him. Evelyn looks around and see's a knife. she grins and starts to look at Jackson.
