My Best Friend

Chapter 3

After about an hour of the party I decided i was ready to go home. I was having fun and all don't get me wrong but it seemed like the same stuff kept happening over and over again.I stepped off the crowded dance floor to look for Cam. I couldn't see him anywhere. I turned around to go check outside when this guy who seemed to be about nineteen or so stopped me. "C'mon baby let's go danceee,'' he slurred as he took hold of my wrists pulling me back to the place I just left. I pulled my wrists out of his grip angrily calling back at him,''Get the heck away from me you creep! I'm not your babe and i never will be!'' I turned back tracing my previous steps towards outside and I stepped outside.

When I stepped outside and instantly saw Cameron sitting by the bar that stands next to the pool taking shots of this yellowish orangish liquid. I started walking faster towards him as he glanced in my direction.''Let's go," I said to him not yelling but just loud enough for him to hear it over the music. I grabbed his hand as he took another shot and pulled him back inside through the party and back out the front door to his range rover that was parked down the street. I turned aroud so that I could get him in the car but instead I saw him leaning in. I had the sudden urge to lean in too but knew that I shouldn't. I panicked and didn't really know what I was doing until I found my self standing there kissing the guy who has always been there for me, the guy who wanted to be my friend when no one else wanted to, the guy who knew more about me than anyone. I found myself kissing my best friend. I froze. I just stood there not knowing what to say or do. That is until he snapped me out of my daze by trying to talk.He was slurring everyword it was almost unrecognizable. I was embarrassed that I kissed him. Not that he was unattractive or anything like that. Any girl who layed eyes on him would love to kiss him. There was no reason for me to be embarrassed of the kiss in that way. I was embarrased that I enjoyed the kiss, and it wasn't even real...

I'm so sorry I haven't been updating but my computer was dead and I couldn't find the charger for like two weeks. Plus I have school and hate updating from my phone. But anyways, I will try to update as much as I can and when i do it wil either be sometime after 7 on weekdays or the weekends. I thank you guys so much for all of the support and hope you guys continue reading and enoy it as well. If you have any suggestions for future chapters comment.
