The Special Friendship Day

This is one of the beautiful incidents that happened in Vanya' s and Arush' s life. So, lets feel their friendship and read this in Vanya' s point of view....

This is the incident of our college. I and Arush were the inseperable best friends since our high school. We always share everything with each other, all joys and sorrows, we knew every secrets of each other. Though we are now in college we never let jealously hover us whenever I talk to any boy or he talks to girls.

This morning I was so happy as this was the friendship day.🙃I have bought bands for all my friends (Yash, Lisa and Aisha) but a special one was kept for Arush like I always keep every year.😊

And a childhood special one for Aisha, my childhood friend. She, I and Arush were together in high school, she was with me even few years before I met him but our friendship was not so strong in school but we are close friends now.

This was Sunday so, we all got ready and went in the nearby park where we all use to gather during holidays. I met everyone there but Arush was not there. I asked Yash about him, but he replied that he was not in the hostel this morning when he went in his room. 🙁I was a bit worried but still I happily tied the friendship bands to all of them.

I took out the friendship band I have kept for Arush, from my pocket and looked at it.😟 "Oh Aru, where are you?"

Lisa,"Hey Vanya aren't you coming with us to the restaurant."

I replied,"No not now, I am waiting for Arush, I will join you guys later. You go."

Aisha,"Ya how can we forget that you haven't tied the band to Arush yet. 🤭And you will not eat anything until he comes."

"Don't pull my leg, that's not true.", I replied ignoring her words.😒 They always taunt me this way but I never care. My eyes were only searching him, he never be late on friendship day, I don't know what is he doing and where is he now?

They laughed at my words and went to the restaurant to celebrate. I called him but he didn't answer my phone. It's been almost half an hour and he was no where in sight, not even answering my calls. I was getting more and more worried every minute😥.I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned back and .....

Arush," Boo!👹"

He was wearing a ghost mask, but I didn't get scared and I was just looking at him. "Why are you late? And do you think you are gonna scare me with this mask Aru.🙄 Don't you remember what day is today, where were you I was worried.🥺"

Arush,"Hey, hey, hey. So many questions in one breath. How did you recognise that its me? 🤔My face was hidden."

I replied calmly,"You know I can recognise you without seeing your face, it's just your presence,I can feel it's you, all the time when you be🙂. "

Arush,"O girl, sorry I was late. Actually I was searching this."

He took out a beautiful pendant from his pocket.

"This is beautiful, for whom😯?" I asked.

He laughed,"Not for you obviously. It's for a special girl."

I didn't seem much satisfied, "🙄Did I say that it's for me, now tell who is she?"

"I will tell you later Vanu."He said without looking at me.

"Okay but where is your friendship band, have you even forgotten that today is friendship day?😠" I was a bit angry now.

"Oops! I forgot, I am sorry, I will buy you a one. Sorry.😁"

"You forgot! Okay then I also forgot to tie you, take it and tie it yourself. I am going bye." I handed him the friendship band I have kept for him and turned to go away.

He grabbed my right hand and stopped me from going🤝.

"Now what Arush, do want me to stay hungry today, let me go."😠 I flinched his hand but he grabbed both my hands this time and said "Stop! don't go."

Saying this he freed my hands and came closer. I could feel his hands around my neck tying the pendant around.

I turned to face him,"Why... To me?" I could not say anything further, my heartbeat was so fast at this moment😳. I didn't even know why.

Arush smiled,"Do you really think that I can forget? And who the special girl would be in my life except you.😊 Why don't you tie this band around my wrist yourself." He gave me my band back.

"O Arush!☺️" I was so happy and I hugged him happily.

He smiled again,"Give your right hand."

I gave and he tied a beautiful friendship band on my hand. 🤝And I tied mine in his hand. I further asked him,"If you have brought the band then for what is this pendant?"

"It's a gift from me on our 5th friendship day.🤗" He replied.

I was shocked listening this,"5th? You remembered, oh I have forgotten about it. Your memory is really sharp."

Arush laughed,"😁Oh Thanks, you might have forgotten but not me because it was me who asked you to be my friend first."

"Yeah I remember.Thanks for the gift🙃."

"Your welcome. Now come let's eat something. I don't wanna keep you hungry today.😅" And he laughed.

I just hit his shoulder with mine and went with him for the breakfast. We joined other friends in the restaurant.

Yash,"So, Vanya finally met Arush. Tied the bands?"

Arush while eating,"Yep Bro!"

Aisha,"Hey Vani, you are wearing a pendant. Have you worn it in morning? I didn't see it on your neck before.....🤨"

Lisa interrupted her in between,"Oh Aisha, Arush might have gifted her today. It's so obvious girl. Isn't it Vanya, you are even blushing, see her face🤭."

"I am not blushing, okay Lisa.😡" And I angrily ate my food.

Arush was sitting beside me and he kept his hand on my hand which was on my lap and looked at me🙂. I smiled back.

Arush replied Lisa," Yeah I gave her, now eat your food otherwise I will eat yours." And we burst out laughing.😂
