Lucy's POV:

"So, what are we having for supper? More Italian or what?" I ask him to try to make conversation. It had been silent and I was trying to get him talking since I have 3 hours left. "Hm, I was thinking of a simple garden salad with some fruits and perhaps chips or any other small meal type. We can have whatever you would like, but I was hoping to have some time with you as well, so I was planning on little time to make supper. Would you like something else instead? Oh, and we will also have dessert." Loke told me.

I felt bad instantaneously. I didn't want him thinking I wanted something fancy. "Oh no! Anything is fine, I was just curious. What will we do when we finish eating?" I couldn't help but wonder! "That my love is for me to know, and you to find out." He told me and gave me a small smile. I gave him a small playful glare and turned back to facing the path fully. I didn't want to leave soon. I was having lots of fun!

"We're here, love!" Loke exclaimed as he opened the door. I couldn't help but gape, it was so...gorgeous! Not as magnificent as the Celestial Palace, but it was without a doubt still beautiful. It was also so Loke, fancy, elegant, and organized. "Loke, it's so lovely!" I said breathlessly. "It's not much, but it's home." He told me as he led me back to the kitchen.

I shook my head softly as we continued walking. It was definitely something. I knew the Celestial World had more materials and items, but this was just out of the world. Which, I guess if you think about it we ARE out of the world..." Hmm..." Loke suddenly stopped when we entered the kitchen. "What is it?" I ask him. He turns and looks at me and gives a smirk, "Nothing, just..." he suddenly picked me up, turned around and sat me on the counter, "Stay right here while I make supper!" His smirk turned into a smile as he turned away and went to his fridge.

I could feel my heart racing. I couldn't tell what it was from, maybe the sudden move, or how close he had been to me. I kept telling myself it was the move, but I knew deep down it was the lateral. "Loke?" I ask as I see him starting to place the salad in a bowl. "What is it, love?" He asked without looking up. "Where did you get calling me, 'love' from?" I ask him. I was truly curious about it. He looked up once he threw the bag away. He started walking towards me and I started wondering if I asked a bad question. He placed himself in front of me, his arms placed on each side of me, palm on the counter, and him standing between my legs. "I just came up with it...do you want me to stop?" he asked me in a low voice.

I could feel my eyes widen a bit as I heard the words. Did I want him to stop? No. No, it made me feel very loved and important. I don't understand why, it just does. "No...I was just curious." I tell him as I can feel my face redden and my heart race. He gave me a smile. "Good, I didn't have any backup words to call you." And with that he moved away and continued making our supper. I was going crazy, I had to be. I know Loke flirts all the time but that was a whole new level. I had no clue what was happening, but I was hoping for something I knew would probably never happen. Loke was and perhaps still is a playboy. There is no way he would settle down, especially with me, his master he got told to protect. Wait...that's right...the Celestial Spirit King forced him to protect me...he might not even want too. At those thoughts I felt my heart drop.

Maybe I should offer him to go on his own...if I ask and he does, I can talk to the Celestial Spirit King, I didn't want my friend to feel upset about having to be ordered to be around me. Why does it feel so weird to call him my friend...I had no more time to think about it as Loke was back and standing beside me. "Love, the table is set, now all I am missing is the lovely guest, care to join me?'' After he finished speaking he held a hand for me to grab. I slowly took it as he eased me to the ground and walked me to the table. "Let's dig in. Remember, after this is dessert. I have a chocolate cake." He told me as he sat down in front of me. I couldn't eat after what I just had on my mind. "Um, Loke? May I ask you something?" I asked him as I continued to sit there and start at my plate. "Sure, love. Is something the matter?" He asked me. I took a deep breath and started, "Loke, the Celestial King asked you to be my spirit, I never got to ask you like I did the others, do you want to be my spirit, or are you doing what the king asked? I will set you free if you want to be Loke. I don't want to hold you hostage. Please, tell me, are you comfortable with me being your master, and friend?" I asked him. It got silent after I finished and I was hoping a hole would open up under me and take me away. I heard the sound of a chair moving and felt a presence beside me soon after.
