"I'm surprised you're here in Miyagi, Leon," Sugawara spoke as he leads the raven-haired adult towards the secluded area of the gymnasium to talk more openly. "I thought you won't be back again after fifteen months."
Leonel let out a short chuckle at his words before speaking. "I took leave after six months in the military." But after seeing they're now in a location away from bystanders, Leonel paused in his tracks after a moment, followed by Sugawara who took notice of the adult's sudden change of behavior.
"Is something wrong?" Sugawara questioned that the raven-haired adult hesitated before speaking.
"I'll be honest with you, Suga." Leonel let out a short sigh and crossed his arms.
"I didn't just come here to catch up," Leonel began his eyes making eye contact with the third-year setter before averting them on the ground. "What I said back inside the gym..."
"I lied."
And it was at that exact moment, Sugawara was immediately taken aback. His smile faltering with his emotion replaced by nervousness. Not expecting the words coming from the adult in front of him.
"Tae, she doesn't know that I'm here at Karasuno. All she knows, I'm supposed to be visiting places that mark our childhood." The raven-haired man then sadly smiled and let out another breath whereas Sugawara was unable to speak, he was becoming uneasy from every string of words that Leonel uttered. "But I had already discussed this matter with Octavia before."
"You've been her support ever since and you have the right to know what it is about, I owe you for watching over her while I was away." The adult then faces the third-year setter, eyeing him seriously.
"Suga, there's this doctor I got acquainted with when I was in Italy and he finally found a suitable donor for Octavia," Leonel admits, making the eyes of the third-year setter widen. "The reason why I have returned here in Miyagi,"
"Is because I have to bring her with me, the date of her operation has been set. We'll be leaving after a month, Koushi."
