Minoru Mineta is definitely not a popular person. He's mostly described as infamous for his perviness by his classmates.

He was always weird. He was a clingy toddler, and as soon as he found out about boobs, things went south quickly- much to the disappointment of his two older sisters.

Thank every God ever worshipped, however, that Minoru Mineta never hit on his sisters, other than that one time. We don't talk about that one time.

     Never.

The eldest sister, Hamada Mineta, is an underground hero. Minoru likes to say he's in the hero business for the chicks, and that may very well be true, to some degree. He's mostly a hero because of his older sister.

The middle child is a baker on the opposite side of town.

     They were told that, anyways.

Kuse Mineta was always a little rebellious in the eyes of their parents. She wasn't amazing in school, like her sister. It lead to a lot of arguments with her usually very drunk father. It's why she never told him or the other Minetas that she was not a baker. She was a vigilante.

She wasn't the most known in the world, but she had made a name for herself. The Spider Vigilante. She'd taken that name from this old hero in a movie from hundreds of years ago. Spider-Man, or something like that.

Kuse's quirk was similar to his powers. She can shoot sticky web-like strings out of her fingertips. She was sure Hamada had figured it out that she was The Spider years ago, but if she had, she hadn't said anything about it, and Kuse thanked her mentally for that.

Hamada had of course known The Spider was her sister. It was obvious after having been around Kuse all her life. Not to mention, the quirks were too similar for coincidence.

The hero, otherwise known as Black Rabbit, never liked the idea of fighting her sister. She knew, as a hero, underground or not, she was required to fight vigilantes. They were technically illegal. It's why she avoided patrolling areas her sister was known for fighting.

It was a silent mutual agreement between them both.

Another mutual agreement they had was to knock the shit out of Minoru whenever he made a comment about one of their friends. That one wasn't silent.

It wasn't the police that they didn't want finding out about Kuse, it was their father. Despite being out of the house for a good two years at least, they couldn't help the slight fear inside them at the prospect of seeing their father.

He was kinder to Minoru, but not kind. He hadn't raised his fist to Minoru yet, but he'd raised his voice almost every day. They had to stay nearby, for Minoru's sake, and their mom's.

Mama Mineta was so kind, for as long as they can remember. She'd interfere in the yelling when she could, and she sang them to sleep often as kids. But now, she lay in a hospital bed.

She was diagnosed cancer a year prior. It took its toll on the family. A very heavy one. Their father got angrier, Kuse spent more time doing vigilante work instead of sleeping, while Hamada slept much more, and Minoru was trying too hard to pretend it wasn't happening.

Sadly, she wasn't going to make it. They had maybe a month, and they were all gathered at their childhood home after a particularly depressing hospital visit. Some things even the most powerful healing quirks can't fix. They'd seen Recovery Girl, they'd tried experimental cures, they'd even thought about asking that little girl Eri for help in reversing their mom's body to before the diagnosis. But even if her power didn't spiral out of control, it was inevitable that she'd be diagnosed again.
