𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫:𝐒𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤

12.00 pm

I was looking at my house which was bulldozed by some people and I looked at my so-called mother who looked flabbergasted but for some reason, she kind of resembled like my own mother, who has been keeping her nose to a grindstone to work in front of a computer all day to feed her only child as a single mother as I was reminiscing about my mother I decided to get the land back No matter
I went to the site, where all the men were working busily. No one gave attention to me.
"Hey" I shouted. Everyone turned around to see me.
"stop all of you're works now, if not-"
"you came again "
*sigh*
"what do you want," said the guard who was supervising.
" I want my land back," I said
"you will not get it," he told causally and turned. I was infuriated by his words. I ran towards the worker and disturbed them by pushing everything down.
" You little brat! Stop it now"the supervising guard shouted at me.
But I didn't stop disturbing them. I continued to do that, but the guard took my hands and pulled me with him.
"Hey!!! what are you doing? leave me!!" I shouted but he didn't stop.
He took me to a storage room and locked me.
He pushed me down on the floor and locked the door.

"Don't even try to get close to her, If you did then I will kill her and the people who help her" the guard bellowed to the people

"I will send a guard to here to check on her," the guard said and went out.

"hey let me out you stupid!" I shouted while knocking at the door

"don't worry dear, mom is here with you" said my mom while crying who was behind the door

After 2 hours

Someone unlocked the door and the door opened. I ran out of the room and I looked around. My mom was crying so was yamee's mom. Ya-mee ran to me and hugged me.

"How are you, my dear? we even gave you food through the window but you ate only a small amount " my mom asked me

"There is no need to cry, it's not that long maybe I was here for an hour or so," I said while smiling to comfort them

"That idiot guard locked you in there for 2 weeks, not for an hour"

" What 2 weeks *laughs* I was there only for two hours mom what are you saying," I said

" Oh my god, what happened to you?
did you lose your screw? Is it because you were not eating well?" my mom spoke worriedly by looking at me.

As we were talking we could hear of the swell of music played by a lot of musicians. It's the traditional Korean music culture the tune was so majestic.

When the drummers played the drums, I could feel a hair-raising sensation from my whole body. We all went out to see what happened. A lot of people gathered outside there house. At a distance, there was a palanquin carried by some guards

"Here comes the king," said the guard in a grand voice

On the side of the palanquin, there was the handsome guard who was announced about the vacation of the king, he was riding on the horse.

So the construction work has been completed. I should not leave it.
I ran to the new house which was built on our land and decided to block the entrance but unfortunately, I couldn't even reach the entrance of the guest house because of the heavy crowd, everyone pushed me to the see the king in the palanquin and I could barely breathe in the crowd

And my friend Yaa-mee pulled me out of the crowd.

"What were you planning to do ?" She scoffed

"I'm gonna ask the King to give my land back"

"Do you have a death wish? He's the king... You are just a normal person. Do you understand?" She said looking at me with a worried look

"Now go take some rest and eat something, please your mother was really worried about you, you are the only child for her remember!!"
