CHAPTER - 29

I slept the whole day since the time I reached home from school.

I didn't even do any of my Homework. Even though I could I have done it without thinking much.

But I was not feeling okay today so I thought I will wake up early and do it.

But I didn't woke up early.

Oh shoot!
I didn't do my homework.

But my head is still hurting.

There was still no sign of any of my brothers.

"Where are they?"

This time I got a message from Ace saying, "Sorry. Won't be able to come today too. James is here to drive you to school. And take care."

I sighed and went towards James.

Soon we reached the school.

Alex and Taylor saw me and shouted, "What happened to you Isa? We were so worried about you the whole day. We even tried to contact you. But you didn't pick up."

"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't saw my phone. And this is just a normal cut. It will heal soon."

I said to them with a small smile.

They both looked suspicious but said nothing.

I got a detention for not doing my homework of Maths.

I was sure he was taking revenge of the embarassment when I came here, my first day here.

Both Alex and Taylor went for their respective sport practice just before 10 minutes before the recess was gonna get over.

I was going outside when I bumped into Justin.

"Hey girl" He said grinning

"Hey" I said to him smiling.

Then he took notice of my injury and frowned.

"What happened to you?" He asked.

"Oh just got a little cut." I said nervously.

"Wanna come for movie today?" He asked.

I frowned and said, "I'm not sure. I need to ask my brother."

"Oh come on. Live a little." He said trying to convince me.

"No. I can't. I'm sorry." I said

He scoffed and left without saying anything.

Weird.

I just ignored him and left for my next class.

Soon the last bell rang.

And I reached where James was waiting for me.

When I reached home there was still no sign of them.

I sighed and started working on the gifts.

I have finshed making all the gifts for them.

And there's still 3 days left for the christmas break.

Are they going to be here on christmas?

Sure. They will be. Afterall they can't miss our first festival together after such long time.

They are going to be here.

I sighed and lied down on my bed.

I miss them.

Should I call them?

Yeah. I can try.

I called Xavier.

"Hello?" Xavier said a little annoyed.

"Hey. Are you free?" I asked him.

"No. I'm not. I'm busy unlike you." He said and cut the call.

My eye-widened at his behaviour.

Then I called each and every brother of mine.

But nobody picked up my call.

What did I did? I asked myself.

Tears brimmed my eye and I couldn't stop myself from crying.

I cried the whole night until I fell asleep.
