8 year old Novel eagerly ran to her mother embracing her in a tight hug "Mommy!" She shouted her dark brown curls falling in her face as she placed her head on her mother's leg.
"Hello Nugget." Her mother said kissing her forehead "Mommy daddy got me a necklace look." Novel exclaimed showing her mother the shiny red pendant.
"It's beautiful nugget just like you." Her mother said smiling as Novel skipped into the house. "Naveen come here right quick." Novel's Father said with authority in his voice making Naveen follow him to the room.
"Aht no nugget go in there let mommy & daddy talk." Her Father Ekon voiced making her pout slowly walking to her room.
Ekon closed the door and sat on the edge of the bed staring at Naveen "Yo we don't got much time...the ritual gotta get done & if we can't finish in time Novel is our last chance." He said making Naveen tear up.
"We are almost there we can finish in time bae no." She said & Ekon raised a brow "Let's hope you right ma...ion think so though." He said shaking his head looking to her as she bit her cheek looking away from him.
Naveen recollected herself before opening the door walking out of the room & into Novel's room. "Nugget." She called out kissing Novel's cheek & she smiled at her mother putting her dolls down.
"Okay come here." Naveen said sitting next to Novel "I want you to always remember this...Anything me & Daddy have ever done was for your good we love you & no matter what we will be with you always....Okay?" Naveen said her tears dropping as she looked into her daughters small brown eyes.
Novel confusingly nodded smiling at her mother "Okay ma I know." She said as Naveen wiped her eyes nodding "Okay get ready for bed alright." She said standing up letting out a breath.
27 year old Naveen went into her room grabbing her notebook & her ink pen sitting on her bed Criss Crossed.

One day you will know what this saying means, & When that day comes I just want you to know I love you & want nothing more than for you to be happy. Everything may be confusing as of right now and you need to stay strong & push through no matter how hard it gets. Everything happens for a reason & I want you to choose VERY wisely who you trust & befriend in this world. There are very few people I trust to protect you & when the time comes you will know about them. Mommy loves you very much I've never loved a human being as much as I love you & because of that I'm going to make sure your straight for life.

Naveen's tear dropped on the paper as she lifted the pen off the paper making her wipe her face gently with the arm of her sweater.
"You gone be straight mama...she is too I promise." Ekon said lifting Naveen's face up kissing her.
"I love you." She said looking up at him & he smiled "I love you too." He said placing another kiss on her lips.
