Story starts with the very dramatic person actually over dramatic.
" Hey bhagwan ye dekhna se phele mera akhein kyun nai futt gaya." the person dramatically put his hand on his eyes and Preeta Karan open their eyes. Preeta immediately get down from the slab pushing Karan.
" Gao waloon ghar mein Ganga jaal hain kya, Mera ankhein toh aa pavitra hogya hain." the person revealed to be Sameer acting over dramatically. Till now Preeta was complete tomatoes and Karan wanted to punch on his face.
" Bhai bhabhi, ghar mein room kam padgaye tha kya? Ya aap room kisi uluu nai leliya tha jo aap log yaha shuru hogya hain haan?." asked Sameer like 90's type aunties.
" Sameer tu.. Tujhe kya koi aur time nai milta humesha kabeb ki haddi ki tarah beech mein ajata hain." Karan grinning his teeth.
" Shukr manao ki mein hoon. Agar dadi ya Mom mein se koi aajata na toh sharam se kisi ke muh dekhane ke layak nai rehta aap dono haan nai toh. " Sameer said funnily warning them.
" Preeta kuch jaal gaya hain kya?." Rakhi said while coming to the kitchen.
" Haan Mom bhai ka dil." Sameer said adding fuel into the fire. Karan just waiting for the right opportunity to break his teeth.
" Oh no sabzi jaal gayi." Preeta slapping her palms to her forehead and hurriedly turned off the stove.
" Ye sabzi jali kaisa ?." Rakhi asked.
" Aur kaisa Appke Adarsh Sanskari beta Karan." Sameer said in a taunted way because his mom always teases him that Karan is her ideal son.
" Kya kiya toonay Karan?." asked Rakhi angrily.
" Mom woh mein.. mein. Woh." Karan was finding an excuse to escape from all this.
" Sorry Maa mera dhayan nai tha." Preeta apologize.
" Koi baat nai Aur Karan tu kitchen mein kya Karaha hain?." Rakhi asked him suspiciously.
" Mom mein cold water lena aaya tha bahut pyaas lag raha tha." Karan acted as if he was dying for cold water
" Chaal jhoota. " Sameer muttered and Karan let out a curse under his breath to kill him. Sameer looked his death glare and understand that his time has come to get beaten up from his elder brother so Sameer ran away from there to save his life.

After some time,
Preeta was shown setting the plates on the table Rakhi and Ruchika was helping her too while Mahesh Sameer was shown sitting on the chairs all were talking with each other. At then Preeta felt someone intense gaze on her. She looks at the stairs, sees Karan coming downstairs with the same teasing smirk on his face. His teasing smirk was enough to make hearts. To calm herself down she went to kitchen.
Ruchika and Preeta bring the food on the table and served to all of them. Preeta was about to move to sit next to Ruchika when Karan hold her wrist. He signs her from his eyes to sit next to him.
" Haan bhabhi bhaiya ke pass jake beithiya." She pushed Preeta towards Karan.
He freed her wrist as she settled herself on the chair and they all start having dinner. But suddenly, the juice struck in her throat and her eyes widened. Preeta look down and sees her hand caged in his hand. She looked at him who was smiling, and having his breakfast.
" Karan ." She called him Whispering.
He turned to her smirking he entangled his fingers with hers making her cheeks turn to crimson red.
" mer.. mera haath chodho." Preeta said slowly. Instead of leaving her hand, he winked at her giving her shock. She immediately look around to see everyone but thankfully all were eating and busy in their talks.
" kya huya bhabhi aap kuch kha kyun nahi rahe? " Ruchika said teasing way.
All noticed her.
Rakhi ; kya hua Preeta? Tumhe khana acha nahi laga?
Preeta who was looking at Karan telling him by her eyes to leave her hand but he was enjoying her situation.
" haan woh.." saying she takes her other hand under the table and pinched on Karan's hand.
" ouch!" he immediately leaves her hand and narrowed his eyes to Preeta who was giggling.
" Kya hua Karan chilya kyun?" His dad said.
" kuch nahi dad woh chitti nai kata shayed." Karan glares her and makes a angry face.
Preeta giggling expression change when she notice his angry face.
" God Kahi ye mujse naraz to nai Ho gaya na?" Preeta thought in her mind.
At then Karan's phone beeps with a message.
" mera khana hogaya hain men chalta hoon." He said and get up from his chair but not before giving her a look that he felt bad of what she did. But as he turned he smiled sheepishly.
Preeta was feeling sad and didn't wanted to continue her breakfast anymore. But Sumi's Voice grab her attention.
" Aree ye ladka bhi na apni file toh ye yahi bhul gaya. Sameer ja jakar Karan ko ye file dekar aa jaldi dekh kahi chala toh nai hi gaya na." Rakhi ordered Sameer and he make a lazy face.
" Maa koi baat nai mein dekar aati hoon unhe. Sameer breakfasts karaha hain toh karne dijye." said Preeta supporting him and she nods. Preeta took his file and goes towards the parking lot.
There Karan was smiling sheepishly he was sure that anytime Preeta will come to give him the file and will try to say sorry. He deliberately left the file on the table so that she could come. He was having a mischievous plan in his mind to trouble Preeta. At then his eyes move to Preeta who was coming hurriedly. His expression changed to angry birds.
" Thank God! Karan ki tum abhi tak gaye nai. Aap ye file lena bhul gaye tha. Ye lijye. " Preeta said handing the file to him.
" Tumhe aana ki kya zaroorat thi. Mein toh anna wala tha. Anyways thanks. " said Karan in a uninterested way. He turned to go when Preeta held his hand. He turned toward her who was bowing her head.
" I'm sorry Karan ." She said pouting her lips looking like most adorable kid. Karan wanted to make a aww face but he put that Stern mask on his face.
" For what?" He asked looking at other direction and he was showing her how bad he felt.
" Karan sorry na. Phirse nai karungi kabhi bhi nai pakka." She said holding her Both ears. Karan looked at her and cross his arms around his chest.
" Only on one condition. " He said pulling her hand down from her ears.
