James looked at her, his face searching hers for something before leaning down to peck her on the lips.

"Thank you..."

"You're welcome, Jamie..."

Day 2, 26/12/1998

"What should we do today?" Sirius asked the group after breakfast.

"How about we play Quidditch?" James asked enthusiastically.

Harry's eyes brightened. "Really? It's been a while since I last played."

Remus laughed, petting Harry's hair and repositioning Teddy in his arms. "Quidditch is not really my thing. I'll watch with Leyla and Teddy."

"So a seekers match then?" Lily asked, a strange twinkle in her eyes.

"What about me?!" Sirius pouted.

"Do you play Quidditch at all?" Harry asked with a raised eyebrow.

Sirius tried to look hurt. "Of course." He said before bowing mockingly. "Finest beater ever, at your service."

Harry hummed. "We'll see."

Teddy giggled and changed his appearance to make himself look like Harry.

Remus chuckled. "Looks like someone missed you." He handed Teddy over to Harry.

Harry laughed at his godson and twirled him around in his arms, making him squeal in delight. "Andromeda won't appreciate the way he always tries to look like me. I'm certain she doesn't like me."

James frowned, as did Sirius. "Why not?" Lily demanded.

Harry flushed as he ran his unoccupied hand through his hair. "Well, the first time I met her was not long after my godfather's d-death." He stumbled over his words and took a deep breath. "Bellatrix's face was unforgettable for me after that day. When I saw her, all I could think about was Bellatrix and I may or may not have yelled at her in her own house."

James look at Harry sadly and was about to comfort him when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Let me." The whispered words made him sigh quietly but he let his brother in all but blood comfort Harry.

Sirius cautiously approached his future and favorite godson, not wanting to scare him from his movements. He stepped next to Harry and started walking by his side as the other's fastened their paces to give them some privacy.

Sirius lightly touches Harry's elbow as they continue to walk. "I don't think Andromeda's opinion matter." He said quietly. At Harry's look, he quickly added. "I'm not saying it's her fault that she looks a lot like Bellatrix, don't get me wrong." He sighed. "She should've understand. You were still grieving. And if she doesn't like that Teddy makes himself look like you, then fuck it. I'm pretty sure this little guy here is a lot more smarter than he looks and knows exactly what he's doing." He winked at Teddy and ruffled his hair.

Teddy giggled and changed his eye colour to silver.

Harry smiled softly as Sirius slung an arm around his shoulders.

"Thank you... I needed that..."

"Are you guys ready?!" Lily yelled from the ground.

They were about to start the Quidditch match. Remus and Teddy were currently watching 'uncle Harry' while Lily was releasing the 'balls'.

"Of course, send them!" James yelled back, excited.

As Lily opened the box, two seekers and one beater took off from the ground to play a fair match and to spend some quality time.

Sirius and James gaped at Harry as he gracefully landed on the ground.

"I- You, what?!" Sirius exclaimed.

Harry just smiled and walked towards Remus to take Teddy from his arms.

"I must say, it was a pretty good match but I must get some rest or Madam Pomfrey will have my head." Harry cheekily remarked before walking away.

James suddenly startled all of them by making a loud noise.

"James!" Lily exclaimed. "What on earth-"

"Did you see him?" James yelled in triumph. "He was amazing! He was perfect! He beat me. Me!"

"Yes, yes, we know you're amazing but you don't have to rub it in." Remus said slowly as if telling something boring.

James pouted as Sirius barked a laugh. "Now, now, Prongs. No need to be jealous. It is your son after all."

James' pout turned into a soft smile as he whispered. "My son." He looked at his wife and whispered again. "Our son."
