You can sleep, you can dream, but nightmares? You don't want those. Everyone else wakes up and sighs with relief, knowing it's not real. You don't get that privilege, because every nightmare that you have is a fight for survival, and you may not wake up the next day. Good luck.
Explanation (A/N: I felt like being a bit dramatic before >v<)
Basically all your dreams are real, in the sense that what happens in there happens to you in real life. Magic isn't permanent, but while you're dreaming, you can control it. Sleep walking can be a thing if you want. Nightmares are the scary ones, because you don't know what will happen. Good luck writing!
