Part 5:

I never thought I would ever get to meet Blake ever again. I was lucky he didn't spot Blaze but I have to be careful, I am scared, I don't want Blake in our lives but how do I tell my son that his father is a rapist.

We have successfully got into my car and Liam is still dazed from the whole losing his job, but I just hate it when employees are mistreated. The reason Rich industries is where it is its because of the policies established and one of them being of which if it was to happen that an employee is mistreated by their bosses in their departments a complaint can be filed to me and I would deal with it.

I honestly believe that no one is higher than the other I only use the CEO card when I am forced to by external factors but that is not in my morals to disregard anyone that is lower than me and I guess that's the reason between Rich industries and the one owned by Blake's family.

Liam is sitting at the back with Blaze and I Blaze is showing an sudden interest in Liam. Blaze isn't the type of kid to socialize which is why I don't keep babysitters he just doesn't like them and it just gives me a head-ache we are to be sleeping at the palace but I don't want to risk anyone spotting Blaze because he is a replica of Blake and if one was to see him they could tell that he is Blaze's son and I really don't want that.

"Liam I'm sorry about the mess I created for you" I apologised.

"Oh don't worry mam I have to thank you for if it wasn't for you I would have been slapped on camera" he said rubbing his neck.

"You are welcome and since I got you to quit your job I was wondering if you wouldn't mind babysitting Blaze for 300 dollars per hour"

"I would love to but mam don't you think that's quite a lot it's even more than my old salary"

"oh don't worry about that and please do call me by my name Alexis"

"Um okay... Alexis" he said smiling at me nervously.

We reach the hotel we'll be staying in for the next week or so, I have to go meet my aunt we have lost touch a long time ago when I was still young but my mother told me to check on her and she sent me an address, the ball is in three hours so I will go and check on her after the ball and tomorrow with Blaze.

The struggle to put on a whole ball gown was extreme, it left me panting and taming my hair from the shower was another battle, but after a lot of frustration and swearing I was finally done with everything including my make-up. I had to look my best since I'm the queen's first adviser I will be by her side the whole night so I had to look presentable.

The royal limo was parked outside the main entrance of the hotel, Elizabeth understood why I couldn't stay at the palace but was quite disappointed that she won't see Blaze tonight, she really is fond of the kid.

Liam and Blaze where sprawled on the couch watching TV I guess he needed a brother figure in his life and Liam filled that spot I quickly kissed him goodbye and waved at Liam on my way out of the penthouse. the elevator ride was nerve racking this shall be my first appearance with the queen all the previous balls she had always made excuses for me but with this one I knew I had to be present, it was my duty

I arrived the lobby and everyone's eyes were on me then on the limo parked outside at the main entrance some people bowed at me and I just waved. The driver opened the door for me and helped me in he was a true gentle men, I thanked him and the drive to the palace began, we where escorted by the royal guards and the roads where being cleared for us cars where moving out some stopping to stare at the moving limo.

The drive to the palace seemed very short when the gates opened for me and the limo went to park where the paparazzi were waiting for the important people. The door was opened for me and the driver extended his hand helping me out I gladly accepted, I walked the red carpet with the paparazzi capturing my every move I stopped to give them a couple of poses and I entered the ball room.

The queen was the first to spot me and she made her way towards me and kissed my cheeks in greeting.

"My dear child you are more beautiful in person, you look stunning!" she complemented before quickly pulling me into a hug this is the first time seeing her in person, we always talked with skype and we got close through that so I'm not worried about it being awkward I talk to her everyday.

The whole room had quietened down since it was very rare to see the queen hug someone. The speaker noticed that everyone was staring at me with unanswered questions so he decided to answer the one everyone was wondering he introduced me.

"Here Lady Alexis the queen's first adviser" he shouted out and everyone stared at me with amazement. I was quite young to be an advisor but I here I am. The queen the dragged me to her seat for us to sit and everyone seemed to go back to what they had been doing.

"Alexis I assume you are aware of the reason for this ball" she stated

"Yes your highness I am"

"Well lovely then so what are we looking for?"

"We are looking for someone modest, compassionate, mature, loving, generous, caring, hospital, kind yet strict and someone who can keep and raise the standard of the united kingdom." I told her whilst inspecting the ladies here.

"Very well I have taught you well" she smiled at me looking proud

"Well so far I have my eyes on five girls"

"Really that fast who?" she asked

taking a clipboard with a pen "well we have Lady Lilly Hourt she has the elegance and beauty fit for a queen." I started out looking at the lady in the far distance.

"But she has the heart of a demon, you can feel her odd aura from far" the queen added

"Precisely" I stated

"Then in the far right corner we have non other than Julia Steff she's rich and kind"

"But a gold digger who will lead the UK to its ruins" the queen commented on her.

"Here we have Sofia Austin she's a member of parliament who knows how to operate a ministry"

"She slept her way to the top and a ministry is nothing compared to a kingdom" the queen clearly dislikes her.

"Your highness with all respect but what exactly are you looking for because if you declined these three then the rest don't stand a chance." I asked her

"Don't worry your little head child I have my eyes on someone" she explained.

"Well whoever that someone is they better be on their best behaviour" I sighed smiling.

"Oh hush come on we have a party to enjoy." she said standing up.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the time we've all been anxiously waiting for has come! The reason for this ball has been made and with all pride and joy we can't wait to see who the future queen is!!!" the speaker announced.

"Well without farther due please welcome the queen of England Queen Elizabeth!!!"

the crowd cheered as the queen made her way to the stage I still had no idea who the new queen is, Elizabeth made sure of that.

"Good evening everyone, The UK has been a prosperous and compassionate kingdom and with the help of the royal family and the government the UK shall forever remain as prosperous which is why it was amazingly difficult to come to a decision for who should take the throne after me as I have grown old and need time to go tango before my final moments." The queen started.

"When coming to my decision I was looking a someone compassionate, loving, decisive, intuitive, kind, successful, informative, open, hospital and most of all a born leader and I couldn't find anyone like that in the crowd so I looked on the inside of the government and palace and I still found nothing but tonight I thank my lucky stars because I found that person and I'm proud to announce your future queen Alexis Rich!" she announced.
