Highschool story.

Cafeteria

When I stepped in the cafeteria I was in awe. It was so amazing. Everything shined and I felt like I was in a movie. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was the red haired girl giggling at me since she had seen I was amazed.
Emma: I have never seen anything like this before. Is the food as good as this place looks!
Max: "We'll why don't we find out," she winked.

Max grabbed my hand as we ran to the line to beat the group of kids that were going too. She was going a little too fast and I lost my balance. I felt myself fall and everything went in slow motion. All I could think in those moments was how embarrassing it was going to be to fall in front of the whole school on my first day. Suddenly I stopped. I looked up and it was Jeffrey.

He smirked at me and said "hey new girl slow down"

In the moment I was relieved I didn't fall but then I remembered he had ditched me.

I pushed his arms away from me and Max stood right in front of him. Max was tall for most girls and almost the same height as Jeffrey. She smacked him "accidentally" with his hair as she turned. Facing me she said hey let's go the line is getting longer.

As we left Jeffrey was left confused and shouted I guess I'll see you later.
