Today was Sunday like many others but it wasn't too, see my parents have always sent me a letter by own on every Sunday for the last five years but today was nothing the owls have to deliver the letters half an hour ago but not one to me, everyone told me not to worry that maybe my parents were just busy or forgot but my gut was telling me something was wrong, very wrong. Breakfast had finished and the hall was empty but I was just sitting by myself, I couldn't stop thinking about my parents, normally I would get two letters one from each parent or sometimes one if my dad was busy but from neither well that had never happened since I arrived here. I was pulled out of my deep thoughts, by the voice of Professor McGonagall, she was a family friend and she had known me since I was born.
"What's wrong miss French" -she said, I turned to look at her she was standing behind me
"Nothing, I will be on way" -I replied quickly getting from the bench I been spent the last hour sitting on.
"Child, I have known you since the day you came into this world and you know I made a promise to your father I could keep an eye on you even if you weren't in my house, so I need to know what's wrong so sit back down and tell me whats happened "-we both sat down on the bench, professor McGonagall looked at me and just smiled. I took a deep breath before I opened my mouth to speak.
"You know how a normally get a letter from my parents every Sunday"- I said nervously
"Yes, of course"- she looked at me, I could tell she was confused about where this story was going.
"Well, I didn't get one today and I know it sounds stupid maybe they just forgot but my gut is telling me something is wrong"-I looked her in the eyes to try and tell if she believes me or would say the same as everyone else.
"Olivia, listen if you are anything like your mother then your gut will probably be right so if you want I will send a letter to your father and if he doesn't reply then I will personally try to find out what's going on. Okay?" She while taking hold on my hand and giving it a squeeze, I felt some weight left of my chest knowing someone believes me she knew my father well and knew he would know how i would be if he didn't send a letter.
Soon after I left the main hall, I didn't have a plan of the day so I decided to go on a walk just to clear my head mainly, but I ended up meeting Harry before I went into the woods, he decided to join on my walk it was relaxing and helped to have someone with me we joked and laugh the whole time, we arrived back just as lunch was being served we walked into the hall together Draco always entered the hall at the same time but he just quickly walked past me and punishing me causing me to almost fall over lucky Harry caught me then he helped me regain my balance. We then towards our table and had some lunch, but the whole time all I could feel was the stare of Draco on me, yesterday he had been so nice it made me think maybe he was changing but today the whole of lunch his look towards me was full of anger and hatred.
After lunch I met with Cho chang who shared the great news that she had got a sport on the quidditch team, I was extremely happy for her of course as a Ravenclaw it was great to know we had a great time this year and one of those players being my best friend made it even better. That evening we spent in our dorm just talking and preparing for the next week of school, life was officially back to normal here at Hogwarts. Meaning I decided to plan out my new study routine and my weekly timetable, before going to bed I decided to draw the view that I had from my dorm room, which was the view od the Hogwarts grounds and buildings.
Monday morning was here, the first period was just about to start like many other students I arrived a couple of minutes before to miss the traffic od the younger students. Once the bell rang the class became full pretty quick which meant Draco took his seat beside, he gave me a small smile but I just turned my head away, after his attitude yesterday I wanted nothing to do with him.
At 4th hour I had a class with Professor McGonagall the class was completely normal but at the end of the class, McGonagall asked me to stay behind as she needed to talk to me and I knew it was about my parents.
