(modern au!) Kylo Ren is the CEO of the newspaper you work for, called The First Order. You're one of the higher up reporters, and have been tasked to learn more about your boss. Why the company thought this would boost the selling of the newspaper, you didn't know. But you would of never thought that Mr. Ren himself is more than just an angry business man.________________________________________________________________________

"FUCK OFF!" Yelled (Y/N)'s boss, the CEO of The First Order, a known newspaper. Apparently some of the lower level employees were messing with him. That usually messed up the work day. Nobody liked when that happened. And how often does the work day get messed up? Three times a week. The work load people had on the days when the CEO wasn't as mad.. it was a lot. The lower level employees really liked to get on their nerves. Sure, they knew their boss was kind of uptight, but it irked them that things in the building would just stop because someone decided to mess up a simple task. Now sure, Mr. Ren gets mad over a lot of things, but if something that is bound to be messed up, gets messed up, he doesn't give two shits. But when its a simple task that people do all the time? He goes fucking crazy. Breaking the printer in his room, or punching a hole through his file cabinet. This man is strong, and it kinda scares (Y/N).

(Y/N)'s assignment for the week was interview the anger-stricken boss of theirs. Of course, it was a good day to do so. Since the man wasn't yelling in his large office. It was common for them to hear the screams, since they worked on the same floor as the CEO. A gentle knock on his door, and a 'come in'. "Hello Mr. Ren." Greeted (Y/N) to the tall man. "Hello (L/N). I heard from our editing department that you were going to come see me today. I wasn't informed of what exactly you're coming for." He used a hand to prop his head up, seemingly bored of the medial tasks of being a CEO. "Oh!" They sat up in the chair. "I was supposed to come here to interview you-" "Interview?" A confused look landed on his face. "Yes.. the media team thinks that will bring in more sales if people knew more about you-" (Y/N) started to feel sweat drip down their back. This was not going to go well. "Well, The First Order does have a decent media team. Alright, I will let you interview me. But not here. I don't want anyone overhearing this until the editing team gets the report, okay?" They nodded to what he said, the nerves still making them sweat profusely. "Meet me outside the parking lot after you're let out." Kylo Ren then shooed his employee from his room. Well this sure was gonna be an experience.

Hours later, and (Y/N) met up with their boss. "Hello Mr-" "Please, call me Kylo when we're not in that building." He said, in his normal baritone voice. "... okay.. Kylo.. uh.. where are we going?" "My place." Well that sure made (Y/N) blush. His place? That's a bit more informal than they thought. Oh boy- "Just follow my car." The only other car in the parking lot, other than (Y/N)'s, was a fancy Jaguar. Of course he had one of those. It seemed like the car has even been modified. The car itself was mostly black, but the interior was all red leather. And the tire rims were also red. Fancy. Of course, (Y/N) just had a (Car Make), which was not as fancy as that car.

A small drive later, and the two arrived to a large house, practically in the middle of nowhere. ".. woah.." The person said in their car, so the boss man had no clue what their first reaction was. "Wait holy shit-" Yeah, this man had a four car garage. (Y/N) just noticed. "Okay wow.. this is sure gonna be eventful." The cars pulled up the driveway, and parked. Kylo got himself out of the car, and locked it. The employee did the same, but felt their nerves kick into overdrive. "Are you alright?" They didn't notice that they started to shake in an anxious manner after they started to walk to the house. ".. uh.. yeah. I'm fine-" (Y/N) held their laptop and papers closer to their chest. The male opened the door for them, and immediately, they were mesmerized by what they saw. The foyer was the peak of class. There was a large statue in the middle of the circular room, and a door leading to a sort of mudroom. ".. uh.. so where do I put my things?" "I'll take them-" Their boss being a gentleman sure surprised (Y/N) even more. He took their coat and shoes into the mudroom, and then came back out without his own coat and shoes. "Come with me-" Kylo lead them to his study.

(Y/N) gathered so much information about their boss, and realized how calm this man could be outside of the building they worked at. He seemed to enjoy calligraphy, and poetry. Both being very calm things. This man could also speak a couple more languages than just English. The things they found out was astonishing. "I think I've gathered enough for an article. Thank you so much for doing this." The person gave him a gentle smile, of which he returned. "I'm glad you were patient with me, unlike some of those pesky lower level people.." He put a hand on his head, obviously mad about how they like to mess with him. "I totally understand. They get on my nerves too." (Y/N) nodded, agreeing with him. This brought another smile to Kylo's face. Someone else knows how agonizingly annoying the people that work on the lower level are? Well that sure took a large weight off his shoulders. His meaty, muscular-.. OFF TOPIC. "Did you want to stay for dinner? It is pretty late-" The man stood up, and looked in the direction of his kitchen, and then back at them. "Uh.. if you don't mind-"

A meal of creamy risotto and New York strip steak. What a treat. Something that was surely fancier than what (Y/N) usually ate for dinner. And all of it was made by the CEO of The First Order. He even wore an apron while making it. They swore that this was strictly professional, but those romantic feelings.. (Y/N) was catching them for their boss. "Here you are-" A plate of steak and risotto was put in front of them. ".. this looks amazing.. and smells amazing too.. I don't think I could ever repay you for this-" "You don't. I know how to treat my guests." He smirked slightly. Huh. He even has a bit of humor to him. Wow. "...well.. thank you. This is lovely.." Kylo nodded at them, and then took a seat as well. The dining table both people sat at was very lavish. Like the house itself.

The two talked through the meal, since Kylo decided he should learn something about his employee. They did seem quite interesting. (Y/N) was okay with answering the questions, because they didn't seem to be very personal questions. After the meal was finished, there was one last question asked. "Would you like to out on a date sometime?" That sure sent (Y/N)'s heart on a joyride. Their face was bright red as they nodded. They couldn't turn down the offer from such a gentleman.

As (Y/N) walked with Kylo to the front door, it was silent. It was a decent walk from the dining room. The tall male took this to his advantage. Halfway to the door, he took (Y/N)'s hand. Again, a red faced person. It just make him chuckle. "I hope you liked how today went-" "It was perfect." A smile was shared between the two. "I will see you tomorrow." He gently kissed the back of their hand. This sure was gonna blossom into something magical.
