"Having a feelings to the person who is unable to feel love is an idiotic move and you know that" my best friend said with a amusement in his eyes, his arms are crossed and his back leaned at the wall while we talked on the kitchen. I glared at him as I took another bite of a chocolate "So what? You're gonna tease me too for having a feelings to our 'emotionless' Emperor?" I snapped at him and he putted his hands up in surrender "Calm down Killer, I'm not going to tease you about that like the other idiotic people. Having a crush to someone is normal." he said and his words makes me relieved a bit 'finally someone who doesn't make fun of me' A small smile escaped on my lips (teeth?) "Well... that's the  first normal word I've received in this day after the news spread.... Thanks Cross"

He returned the smile and he puts his hands on the packet of his trousers "You're welcome Kills, I'm the only friend in this Empire besides Dust so I'm the only one who can comfort you." He takes a sit on the chair beside me and I give him the piece of chocolate which he gratefully accepts.

Me and Cross were laughing and talking while eating chocolate that we both love until a random lower soldier ran into the Mess Hall, they were panting like crazy and looks like they're tired from running around.. hmmm.
The soldier noticed us and they quickly kneeled down, as a sign of respect to us Higher Soldiers of the Empire, we're the ones who is capable to do a hard mission and the most likely survive to many wars, of course they should give us respect.
"The Emperor to give his words to the two of his higher soldiers" they said with breathless voice and looks like they're gonna pass out anytime soon 'it's not that I care' 

"The Emperor wants to give the mission to two of you about..."

"You may go now.."

The soldier went back to his feet and he immediately jogged out to the Mess Hall.

I turned to look at Cross who has a same expression with me, shocked.

"What in the hell and why the Emperor gives us this mission after attacking the Sun Empire 2 weeks ago?" I said and Cross just crossed his arms once again after eating all of his chocolates in one go before answering "Dunno, maybe he wants us to spy and look at the other Empire's condition after the attack. Maybe he was planning another attack again.... but 1 month?.. I think it's a very long mission." as he said that, his eyes brighten up a bit. What the hell is wrong with this guy?

"Seems like you're happy about something, Cross" I said with amusement and he just blushed in embarrassment and started defensing himself "W-what are you talking about?? O-of course I'm happy! We're going spy to our Empire's enemy to find out t-their weaknesses- y-yeah! That's why I'm happy about the m-mission!"

I stare at him deep in his eyes and he shrunk to his sit, seems uncomfortable "Really??"

"Yeah.." he answered

He quickly regained his posture and he got up from his sit, going to the door likely to avoid something
"I think we should get ready. The Emperor will be mad at us when he find out that we're still hanging out here." he said and I nodded a bit, getting up from his sit and we both went to our respective rooms.

I opened the small cabinet containing my collection of knives. I looked at the knives carefully to choose what will I bring in this mission, of course I choose the sharpest knife in my collection and puts it on my knife pocket in my waist belt.
 Instead of my usual clothes. I wear a plain black sweater, black trousers, a dark green boots ( but not the boots that I always wear, that boots is high as fu-) and a dark green cloak. Just simple wearing to avoid attention.
I also have a shoulder bag, containing extra knives and of course, Chocolates.

Me and Cross decided to wait each other at the stables after we finished preparing so I went outside my room and I jogged towards the Main exit to go to the waiting place. As I was about to turn around the corner, I didn't notice that someone is there and I accidentally bumped into that person.

I fell into my butt and my blood boiled whoever bumped into me

"Watch it you-" I was about to yell to the person who bumped into me but I stopped myself as my eyes widened at the person in front of me. 

His one cyan eye is glaring daggers down at me, I feel my self blushing and I feel like I want to melt because of my embarrassment. 

It's the one and only Emperor of the Moon Empire... Nightmare

I quickly went into my knees and looked down, afraid of what might happen to me next if I did something wrong and I apologized to him.

He went quiet a bit but suddenly, a heat formed on my face as I felt a gloved hand ay my head, rubbing my head softly

"Watch where you're going next time, Killer.." he said softly and he removed his hand at my head, now walking towards the hall behind me, his boots beautifully makes a sound when they meet the floor, it echoes to through the hallway and I only went on my feet as the sound disappeared and I made my ways towards the stables with a blush still in my face.

Killer what the heck?! Calm yourself!! He's just being nice to you, Calm down!!

When I made it into the stables, Cross is there waiting for me to come, he noticed me and he sighed in relief 

 "Took you so long, what happene-" he stopped mid sentenced and I think he noticed my blush in my face because he smirked at me, Great.

" I see... Did you get bumped to Nightmare or something like what happened at the corny love stories??" he mocked and my blush worsen at this. I glared at Cross and summoned an attack bone. His eyes widened and he quickly mounts on his horse and he ran away.

Stupid Bastard..

I soon calm down and went into my horse, quickly catching up to Cross. I sighed softly and I looked down, already missing the Empire and the Emperor

"This will be a very long journey..."

"This will be a very long journey without seeing Nightmare's face.."

I turned to glare at him and I throw him some bone attack which he quickly avoids

"SHUT UP CROSS!!"
