Part 4 -Horror monster

Drex became an E rank hunter 2 days ago. This time , he logged in to promote himself to become a D rank hunter.

"HYAAA" Swish. A gothrak's head was chopped straight off. "Where's all the D rank monsters at?" Drex sat down and took a break below a tree. He then ventured further into the forest hoping to catch D rank monsters.

While walking , he noticed in the distance that the bushes were "moving". Stealthily, he crept towards the bushes, sword out. "Caught you!" he exclaimed as he jumped into the bush , ready to slash.

"Eh?". He did find something , but it was a  baby animal. Upon closer inspection, he found out that it was a baby husk! Using the beginner's adventure guide , he read about them. They can grow to be bigger than a lion , but not too much.
(*basically i mean , if u watched Ice Age , the animal with two long tooth thing sticking out of its mouth -  a sabertooth? )

Shit. [Usually when you find a baby husk or a young husk , you probably already fell into their trap. Husks do this to lure adventurers in and then surround them afterwards]

Drex was in trouble. Husks are D rank monsters after all , and although not very very big , they are fast and agile and deadly. "I wasn't asking for a whole pack of D rank monsters coming at me at once!" Drex cursed inwardly. "I better get out of here fast"

As he was about to sprint , roars were heard. "SHIT SHIT SHIT! I CAN'T DIE SO EARLY I JUST STARTED" (T . T)

The first husk appeared in front of him. He backed up against a tree. Can they climb? I'll take the risk. He scurried up the tree and stared down the the husks , now 3 of them.Grrr... Drex froze. There was a husk...in the tree , right above him.

With no other choice , he jumped down to face them. Holding his sword in a fighting stance , he swung at the husks. But they were too fast and agile that they dodged all his swings. Drex...was doomed - or so he thought. 

Faster. Drex put more power into each swing but to no avail. He was exhausted and dripping with sweat. His armour was scratched badly and his chest had claw marks.

Weak. I'm too weak. "HYAAAA" Drex charged and put all his power into one swing. It managed to cut one husk , but the cut wasn't deep at all.

Drex dropped his stance. Although husks weren't human , monsters have been developed to "read" human language. For an instance , dropping the fighting stance means surrendering.

"HAHAHAHAHA....HAHAHAHAHA" All of a sudden, Drex started laughing savagely. Even the husks seemed puzzled. "HAHAHAHA, TO THINK I FORGOT TO EQUIP MY LIGHTNING ENERGY CORE!"

"HAHAhAHa..hah..ha" He gradually stopped laughing. He looked at the husks with a determined look and grinned. Die monsters.

{Teleport}
Grr..? In one swift motion , he swung the sword at the husk from behind. Blood splattered as the husk groaned. Seeing this , the other husks started to back away. But Drex wasn't the kind of guy to let his targets run away.

{Lightning charged}
He charged at a husk. With his boosted speed , the speed of the husk was no match for him. Swish . The sword met flesh and with the ability , the husk was electrocuted and lay unconscious.

The 2 remaining husks roared and charged towards Drex. Drex smirked and with 2 quick swings of the sword , the husks were dead.

Drex piled the carcasses into the Expandable-storable bandwagon. He pushed it towards the direction of the NPC monster shop. He wanted to upgrade his armour and with the long tooth of the husks , upgrade his sword. Or just buy new ones.

Thud. "Hm?" CRACKK. A whole tree fell down. Drex frowned. It was a monster for sure , and it was big. It was strong. ROARRRR. The deafening roar sounded out into Drex's ears. His heart was beating fast. This monster wasn't something like the husks - it was much more dangerous, and it was coming towards him.

There was only one thing he could think about: SHITTT
