Bang Chan - I am YOU

It's been a week since you had your final exams. Unluckily, you failed it because of your other problems and it's stressing you out. You couldn't show Chan that you're disappointed and not feeling well since you could see him having a hard time too. There are nights when you just cry until you fall asleep but he doesn't know that because he rarely goes home to your dorm or he comes home late at night.

You understand his situation but you can't help but think that you are desperate for his attention and time. As the days go by, you gradually notice that he is getting cold and seems to be losing interest in your relationship so you thought of calling him in the middle of his work.

[Y/N-ie?] he answered.

"Uh, hey Channie. Are you busy today?" you said while refraining from crying.

[Maybe, why?]

"Even just a few minutes? Let's talk, I just want to clarify everything"

He did not answer for a moment so you were even more nervous. [Okay, I'll go home soon] You nodded before you immediately cut the call. 

While waiting, you do not realize you are sleeping on the sofa. You just woke up when you felt the lips touch your cheek. That's Chan.

"Hi, jagi," he greeted you. Gradually a smile formed on your lips without you even noticing. "Sorry, I fell asleep," you said as you adjusted yourself before standing up. You were surprised when Chan suddenly hugged you. "I missed you Y/N!" 

You smile when you hear those words from him. You never thought that his love for you has not changed but he is now in front of you as if begging for your love.

"I missed you too so much Chan! If you only knew," you said before tears began to pour down your eyes. This is the right time to pour out all the pain and suffering while your head rests on the shoulder of the person you love.

"I'm sorry if I'm not always by your side like I promised before. I'm sorry if I didn't comfort you during the nights you cried, sorry if I was always late". He knows, he knows you are hurting and suffering. Your eyes widened as he spoke of your sufferings that you thought he did not know.

You lift your body to face him. You saw the glowing tears in his eyes as if he was still holding back. It was as if a pain came over your heart when you saw his expression. You can also see the tiredness in his eyes at the same time worrying for you.

"Please don't leave me. I can't sleep while knowing you don't love me anymore as well as waking up. I know you are having a hard time and you're already getting tired but I will do everything for you Y/N, please," he started crying in front of you. 

"Baby, I will not leave you. Yes I am tired, yes I am having a hard time but those are not enough reasons for me to give up on loving you. I understand you Chan, you do not have to push yourself to take time for me when you know You can't. I will stay, Chan. I will never leave you yeah? " you caressed his cheek before wiping his tears with your thumb.

He looked at you before smiling and nodding. He hugged you again then you closed your eyes and you were cherishing each and every moment that are passing by.

"I need you Y/N, You are my rest and my strength, I am you. I love you," he whispered before placing a kiss on your head.
