It was a simple day, the air stood still the sun was a bright warm yellow and the sky seemed to shine a pale baby blue color. And in a simple kingdom stood a simple castle with a simple prince residing inside. Prince Akaashi, things he was known for was, his shocking beauty, aloof attitude, and his presence. Whenever a princess would come to visit, they would always leave by the first day, and whenever they got asked why they would simply say, "He looked so intimidating." They would say on the verge of tears.
Little did Akaashi know that there was someone in the kingdom who had a deep admiration for him. This person was actually already very close to Akaashi, they would go everywhere together, even if Akaashi wanted to be alone, he never was, for Bokuto always followed. Not because he was instructed to, even though he was, it was because he had this weird feeling when he was around Akaashi. He wasn't confused however, he knew he loved Akaashi, that much was painfully obvious, but he also didn't want to endanger Akaashi. So he stayed quiet and tried to stay satisfied with the already amazing relationship he had with the aloof prince.
"Bokuto-san?" Bokuto perked up at the sound of his name being spoken by Akaashi
"Yes your highness?" He answered with a pep in his step. He was on cloud 9, with no particular reason he was just happy to be with Akaashi.
"I've told you multiple times, just Akaashi please." Bokuto giggled a little bit at Akaashi, he was adorable when he would get slightly annoyed at him.
"Ok, yes Akaashi?" He granted Akaashi's request even if he knew he would have to be told to correct it again later.
"What's is on my schedule for tomorrow?" Bokuto pulled out a piece of paper, and started reading off simple things. One that stood out was that he would have to get measurements for a new outfit for the ball that would be in 3 months to celebrate his birthday.
"Oh! And Prince Kenma will be visiting along with his personal guard!" This made Bokuto extremely happy, because he was best friends with Kuroo, also known as Kenma's personal guard.
"Oh really? Well let's make sure to have preparations ready." Akaashi said widening his eyes a bit at the news of his friend visiting. He started to walk off towards the kitchen and Bokuto quickly followed him. Akaashi couldn't see but he knew that Bokuto was smiling like a huge idiot, and he slightly smiled at the dork.

"So all the food preparations are ready then chef?" Akaashi questioned, Bokuto stood behind looking slightly bored. He was playing around with a fork that had been left out."Bokuto-san." He perked up when he heard his name had been called, he stopped playing with the fork and looked at Akaashi.
"Yes your Highness?" He had to call him that in front of the other staff otherwise they may report him to the king and queen and he could get into huge trouble for not showing respect to the prince. That already happened twice in the past week, he didn't need it to happen again.
"Is there anything you want to do?" He said as he made his way to the door that leased out of the kitchen. He looked at Akaashi with shock, this wasn't the first time Akaashi had asked, in fact it was one of many, but it still always made Bokuto's heart flutter and a smile would appear on his face. And normally he would decline and say no. But he really wanted to get something important done today.
"Actually today there is, if you wouldn't mind." Bokuto said nervously, as he scratched the back of his head.
"I asked Bokuto, why would I mind?" He said as he looked back at Bokuto. His shimmering teal eyes were sparkling whenever he looked at Bokuto.
"Yeah I guess that's true." Bokuto giggled a bit as they continued to walk towards the courtyard. Bokuto loved going to the courtyard, especially with Akaashi with him. He kept having a dream, where he and Akaashi would be sitting under a cherry tree, and Bokuto would finally confess his love, but then he would wake up.
As they got closer to the courtyard Bokuto pulled Akaashi away from it and lead him somewhere else.
"Bokuto-san, where are we going?" Akaashi questioned Bokuto. They were headed to Akaashi's room and when Bokuto opened the door he flopped on the big poofy bed. Akaashi mentally face palmed, and grabbed the thing he knew Bokuto wanted. It was a book that had a bookmark in it about halfway through it. He grabbed it and walked over to the bed and sat down next to Bokuto.
"How did you know?" Bokuto asked looking at Akaashi looking confused and surprised. Akaashi looked over to him and simply said.
"I just knew."
After that Akaashi read to Bokuto and they picked up where the bookmark was. They read for almost two hours but had to stop since Akaashi's throat was starting to hurt.
"Bokuto-san, stop crying it's fine." Akaashi said mentally facepalming, Bokuto had started to feel guilty about Akaashi's throat hurting and went into emo mode.
"But your voice Akaashi!" Bokuto said whining like a child. Akaashi moved closer to Bokuto and started to pat his back. And let his head rest on Bokuto's shoulder for a bit.
"Look Bokuto-san, I'm going to go grab some water. Try to calm down while I'm gone." Akaashi got up from the bed but was soon stopped by Bokuto.
"But I have to go with you! That's my job." Bokuto debated. He got up from the bed and tried to follow Akaashi.
"Bokuto-san I'll be right back, just take a few minuets to relax." And with that Akaashi left the room and left Bokuto there to calm brown a bit.
Bokuto laid down on the bed and closed his eyes, and only one thing came to mind in the darkness.
"Akaashi." Bokuto whispered with a smile displayed on his face. He didn't know what he would do, but he knew he had to do something, just not yet.

"Keiji?" Akaashi didn't know if he should just keep walking or be polite.
"Yes Mother?" Akaashi turned around and looked at his mother. He was slightly annoyed to have been stopped on his small quest to get water. But he should still be polite, especially to his mother.
"Where is Bokuto? Isn't he supposed to be with you at all times of the day?" Akaashi saw that his mother seemed to be worried sick, so he reassured her.
"I told him to stay back while I went to get water." Akaashi said in his normal all of tone. As he saw Akaashi's mother walk toward him.
"Just make sure to be careful." She said as she pulled him into a soft hug. Akaashi hugged his mom back, but not for long since his throat was really starting to hurt.
"I must be going now Mother." He backed away and his mother nodded at his departure, and did a little wave his way. And with that he set off to finally get water.
