BLUE'S POV

I was on the porch thinking about what happened with Ink, when a knife hit the wood right beside my skull, which obviously startled me.

- {Oh you have got to be kidding me...} ATTACK!

Dream came running out of the healing area which is set apart from the house with his staff, which was already turned into the bow form and he was drawing an arrow. I summoned some sharp-edged bones and threw them at the attackers like Ink taught me to... Ink... Oh crap.

- Dream!

- What!?

- They're after Ink!

Killer, who I was fighting took he opening I gave him while yelling at Dream and swung at me with his axe, which I dodged. I looked around and saw Cross enter the house, probably looking for Ink's room.

CROSS' POV

As I entered the house I looked around and found a room labeled "Vials". I went inside thinking it was Ink's room, but there were just machines creating colored paint and putting it in vials. I saw Ink's sash where his vials usually were, but they were gone. I then realized that I was in the Vial Refill room. While I was in my AU, he told me about it, but I didn't realize how complex the machines were. I took a few pictures with my phone, then left the room, taking Ink's vials with me.  I ran back outside and went to the only other building and went inside. I saw a lot of healing items, and then I saw Ink lying on the cot in the middle of the room. I picked him up and grabbed his paintbrush and then ran out and back into the shadows.

- I HAVE INK, LET'S GO!

Horror, Killer, and Dust heard me and ran after me. We used the portal we had teleported there with to teleport back to the Hideout.

NIGHTMARE'S POV

As I saw Cross, Dust, Horror, and Killer come back with Ink along with the oversized paintbrush and vials, I closed the portal behind them.

- Put Ink in a cell downstairs, but leave the vials and paintbrush here.

(All-NM)- Yes Boss.

Cross set the paintbrush and vials down and then left with Dust, Horror and Killer. I saw labels on the vials. Maybe to know what they all were. I picked them up and looked at the labels. Anger... Sadness... Happiness... Wait a minute... These are emotions... I looked at the designs on the paintbrush. They looked almost exactly like paint splatters, except not black, just outlined in black.
