Fives POV
It was after school and the Miko and I were walking out the school when we both heard 'Hey purple freak and cotton candy head!' We quikly turned and glared at where the words came from." What you do want idiot"
"Wait dont forget jerk, stupid and annoying prick" miko finished.
"Well look its a angry planet, and I am making fun of your hair if you didn't notice since your so stupid."
"Wanna say that again you bit-" I quickly covered her mouth"Miko he is not worth your breathe lets just go."
"Yeah thats right run off like the little scaredy cats you are-" He was unable to finish the sentence when a hand was placed on his shoulder.
"Hey man why are you bothering these freshmen" a male said to him smiling
" thats not very nice of you little bro" A girl finished.
"Little bro ha thats cute" miko stated
"Shut it planet girl and you two are so embarrassing" he said leaving us laughing and we continued walking.

"So miks-" I started but was cut off by miko

"Don't call me that five, that is the worst nickname anyone has ever called me in my life" miko then sticks out her tongue to say she really hates it

"Fine then,so are you gonna head home?"

"Yeah even though I really don't want to." she end her sentence with a groan

"You can come over to my grandparents' food truck for an hour, but you have to ask your parents first. I then smiled at her.But then I saw little details on her face that I had never seen before because I had never stared at her for a long time,but then she saw me staring at her and I immediately looked away blushing."You ok my dude?" she said worried

"Yeah I am perfectly fine why do you ask?" I said very loudly trying to cover his face

Miko just raised an eyebrow and looked away.

What is going on with me?!!!! I have never felt this way about miko before so why is this happening right now? We have been friends for 6 months now so why right now?

Miko saw that he was having a little panic attack and spoke up" Hey are you sure you're ok five you have never acted like this around me before did I say or do something wrong?" I could see she was really worried about me and was asking if it was her that made me act this way, well she did make me flustered but I can't tell her that to her face." No miko it's not you I am just worried if I left anything at school because I may need it to do homework."I lied but I knew she wasn't buying it at all"Yeah sure and my dad is an octopus" she said to me in a sarcastic tone. Then she stood in front of me so I couldn't walk anymore"Ok five tell me what up now!" she went up into my face making me blush a bit more, then she noticed and backed away with a hint of pink on her cheeks and her hands rubbing her temples "Just tell me fiveroni"

"And you say miks is a bad nickname" I said trying to change the subject

"Five it is a bad name just call me miko its not that hard you know"
And it had worked I was surprised it did work

So where is your grandparents' food truck?"she asked tiredly

"Were almost there miko just be patient" I said laughing slightly

"Can't wait right now I just wanna go home and sleep today has been a long day and it's friday" she end her sentence with a groan

"Wow am I that boring miko?" I jokingly said

She quickly turn to me with a sad face "That's not it at all five I am just very stressed from school and my "famil-"

"Miko I was joking, don't worry I know school can be hard and family can be very difficult,trust me I know so if you have anything you wanna talk about you can tell me alright?"

I ended it with a smile and she turned at me and hugged me very tightly, and I hugged her back

"Thanks five I really appreciate it" she nuzzled into my shoulder and I hugged her tighter.

After that we were at my grandparents food truck "What do your grandparents cook anyway she asks"

"Well you see my lunch that you ate today they made that for me well I did it by myself I just know the recipe by heart"

"You think one day you can teach me I have no clue what to do or the first steps of cooking"

We laughed as I open the food truck door and went inside

"Sure just make sure you don't try to burn down our kitchen" she laughed at my joke and I watched her how her hair moves as she tries to control herself and not make a lot of noise and the way she smiles is so cute and how her laugh sounds-.WAIT WHAT!!! Why am I studying her like a I am about to take an exam about her, this is a lot to take in what's wrong with me-

"Five!! Are you alright? You have said nothing and looked at me strangely for 5 minutes"

" Oh I have sorry miko just wondering about something"

Miko looked at me and knew I was not gonna tell her what's wrong anyway so she watched what I was doing

" Five my boy"my grandpa said as he hugged me

"Hi papi got any leftovers for me and my friend?"

"Always" my he went into the food truck to get the food

"Wait five a do you me ral leftovers like what people eat at throw away is that what he is gonna get?"

I laughed at her"No miko it's just away I ask papi for food he saved for me in the day while I am at school no real leftovers"

"OHHH, yeah I am so stupid" she laughed at herself

"Here ya go kids" he said as he throw two boxes to me and miko

"Thanks papi"

Miko looked at her phone and frowned " What's the problem miko?"

"I gotta go home sorry"

"Its ok we can hang out tomorrow"

"Thanks five" she had a faint pink on her cheeks as she kissed me on mine, i immediately blushed at the kiss as she ran home and I just stood there with a stupid grin on my face
