Even In Our Next Lives

My name is Elizabeth Stars and I live in a world where over half the planet has quirks or also known as superpowers. I have two quirks and they both are very powerful and I plan to use them to get into the school of my dreams, U.A High. It is a school that trains the kids to become great heroes and it's also the school that made the number one hero we have today. The school is very hard to get into and when you do you have to train till you pass out but I'm ready for that because I want to be the next number one hero but this is not the story about me becoming the number one hero. This is the story of how I met my husband and soulmate. So hold on tight this is going to be a very bumpy ride. I'm going to take you back to the day I first met him in this life.

It was a brisk autumn morning as I was on my daily run to get my stamina up but then I heard a loud crash in the alley beside me. It sounded like a drunk. Without saying a word I slowly walked into the alley making sure not to make any noise because it could be a villain. As I got deeper into the alley I could see a huge slime thing moving around. It looked like wet paper mushed together. I turned around and was ready to leave, not wanting to be in a situation I didn't need to be in. I was halfway to the end of the alley but stopped in my tracks when I heard someone scream. " GET YOUR GROSS HANDS OFF OF ME YOU DAMN EXTRA!" It sounded like a boy and right after the yelling I could hear things that sounded like an explosion. I didn't even have the time to do the thing before my legs started to run in the opposite direction out of the alley. I was heading towards the slime thing and when I finally made it there I saw a boy around my age being sucked into the slime. Without a second thought, I stopped time with my quirk and ran to the two of them and started to grab at the slime to try to get the boy out.

It took me a few minutes to realize that it would take forever to get the slime off so I just grabbed the boy's arm and pulled with all my might. As I was doing this, I slowly starting to stop using my quirk and time was going back to normal. I gave the boys arm one last tug until I fell to the ground, taking the boy with me. " Are you ok?" I asked the boy who looked so confused as to who or where I came from. "Who are yo-?" he was cut off by me being grabbed by a giant hand of slime. I let out a yell of shock as the slime wrapped around my body, making my upper half of my body feel like I was taking a shower but with my clothing on. I wouldn't be able to use my Teleportation quirk because if I try to teleport I would take him with me and that wouldn't help much. You could hear the sound of sirens off in the distance and that seemed to make the slime monster tensin up like a bag of rocks. I let out a laugh of triumph as I looked up at the slime monster. " You can't run! The pro heroes will be here soon and they will take you to jail!" I let out another laugh but soon stopped when I felt something cold and wet wrap around my throat. It felt like someone rubbing cold salmon on my throat. I turn to look up and see the slime monster has eyes staring right back at me. The slime around my throat was growing tighter by the second making my throw my hands up to my throat, trying to pry the slime off of me. Tears were pricking at my eyes as all the air in my lungs was leaving my body. It felt like my lungs were on fire. " You have ruined my plan! I will kill you!" I started to panic as I thought this was my last day.

I turned my head to see if the boy was ok and when my eyes landed on him I gave him a big smile as tears rolled down my caramel skin. "I'm...glad your...ok," I said as my eyes started to fall from the lack of oxygen. His face looked shocked. Probably because I girl he has never met saved his life and is dying right in front of him. Before my eyes closed for good I could catch a glimpse of his ruby-like eyes staring at me with pure horror. 'Sorry, mom and dad look like I won't make it thru this one.' I let out a weak laugh. 'I wish I could have become a hero before I died.' My smile soon faded as I passed out.

    My name is Katsuki Bakugou and I have a quirk called an explosion. It's really strong and that's why I'm sure I will get into U.A and that's why I strive to be the next Number one hero. I do not doubt in my mind that I won't be accepted into U.A but now I'm not so sure if I want to become the number one hero after that day.
