My name is Alice, Alice Freedom I've lived in England most of my life. My parents and I kept moving around. Changing from one home to another. We never really stayed in the same place for long. One minute I meet a friend and the next, a new house and a diffent school. Until my parents got a well-paid job we settle down in England. Determined to make sure my parents would not leave again, I made sure to make more than one friend and enough to make sure that we could stay. I met one friend who I can consider a brother. His name is Eustace, Eustace Scrubb. He had to be the first friend I met in my new home. And it stayed that way for a long time. I heard that is two of his cousins Edmund and Lucy were staying for a couple months cuz their father mother both work in America and there older siblings Susan and Peter we're both brought with them, wall they were stuck here in England but, I had the privilege to meet them. Well going to meet them, I'm actually on my way to use to see them right now. I just got an interesting book that I thought Eustace might like. Moving some of my blonde hair out of my face my bright blue eyes and scanned the surroundings I saw two people walk in to Eustace home. Maybe they were his cousins.
I quickly walked up to them. "Excuse me but are you Eustace's cousins?" the boy turned around and looked at me. "Yes unfortunately." the girls quickly looked at him. “Edmund!" "What?" "That's not something you just say! No matter who it is!" the girl quickly turned and looked at me and holds out her hand. While moving the bag of groceries to Edmund. "I'm Lucy, this is Edmund." "It's nice to meet you too. My name is Alice, Alice Freedom. I'm a friend of Eustace. “Edmund look at me shocked. “You’re a friend of Eustace?" "Yes I am, we were friends since I moved here which was only a couple months ago. My parents had to go on a business trip and I had to come along so this is really my first day back." Lucy and Edmund looked at each other then back at me. "Would you like to come in?" Lucy asked. "Is that okay?" Lucy smiled. "Of course I'm sure you'll be coming here to see Eustace right?" "Yes to found a book that I thought he would like so I wanted to quickly give it to him." Edmund rolled his eyes. They quickly walk through the door. I have been in Eustace's house for but every time I walked in. It felt like something has change. I heard Lucy talk to her uncle. I looked at Edmund, seeing him stick out he's tongue at he's Uncle.
"Father." Edmund and I looked at the stairs and saw Eustace standing there "Edmund making faces at you" Edmund mouth what as Eustace spit a spitball at him through a straw. I quickly moved out of the way so I wouldn't be in the conflict. “Edmund!" Lucy said happily entering the room quickly. And her hand was an envelope. “It’s from Susan!" Edmund and Lucy quickly went upstairs to what I'm guessing was the guest bedroom. I quickly gave an are you serious look to Eustace. Eustace quickly looked at me. "Oh um... y-you were here the whole time..." “Yes Eustace. That was very immature of you." Eustace rolled his eyes. I sighed. “Let’s go to your room. I have a present for you " "For me?" Eustace ask. "Yes." Eustace quickly went up the stairs. I quickly followed behind him. We entered his room that I'm guessing he shares with Edmund now they're here for a while. Eustace sat on his bed. “So what did you go? You never told me where you and your parents went?" I quickly sat beside him on his bed. “We had to go to America for meeting." my sighed looking at the ground. “I still don't see why they need to bring me along? They should know by now that I'm perfectly capable of taking care myself at home alone." “They’re just worried for you Alice." Eustace said, putting a hand on my back and rubbing it. "I know. But still..." “Anyway... You said that you had something for me?" "Ah! Yes!"
I quickly took my backpack off and handed him present. Eustace quickly unwrapped the present to view a very expensive book about bugs. “I know you wanted this book and I knew it was very expensive but I had just enough money to buy it for you." For the first time for Eustace look completely speechless. "I...I don't know what to say....Thank you Alice!" I smiled at Eustace. “You’re welcome. Do you mind if I go get a drink?" “Not at all." Eustace said, already reading the book. As I walked out of the room I heard Eustace cousins talking from the room across from his. “Lucy. Does this look familiar?" I walk closest to the door wanting to hear there conversion. “Yes. It's very Narnian like isn't it?" I quickly entered the room and closing the door behind me. "I'm very sorry to interrupt you too but what is Narnia? You say that like it’s a real place?" both Edmund and Lucy quickly looked at me. Lucy quickly walked up to me and pulled me towards the painting on the wall. “Narnia is an amazing place. Full mythical creatures like Minotaur’s on funds and how much more!"
"That sounds amazing! How do you get there?" “We’ve been waiting for a year." Edmund said looking back at the painting. “We don't really know how to get there. We get called there when we least expect it I guess." “There once were two children who wasted their time. Believing in Narnian Fairy Tale rhymes." Everyone looked at the door to see Eustace standing there slowly entering the room. “Please let me hit him!" Edmunds started walk towards Eustace's only do be held back by Lucy. "No!" “Don’t you ever knock?" “it’s my house! I do as I please." Eustace started to walk towards the bed and sat down beside me. “What’s all the fuss about the painting?" “There once was a boy named Eustace. Who readed books about nothing?" Lucy quickly came over to where I was. And pulling towards the painting on the wall. We both saw water coming out of the painting. "Edmund the painting!!" water quickly begins to fill out the room. Me not being good summer Eustace quickly swam over to me grabbing by the hand and help me up to the surface of the water. When we reach the surface all I could see around me was water. When I turned around I saw a huge ship sailing towards us.
