Prompt: ~buying Halloween themed cookie cutters and cutting all their food during October to look like gravestones, ghosts, or Frankenstein's monster's head~

Rating: Fluff

A/N I'm not a real scary October person, I'm more of a cutesy, kid-friendly Halloween type person, so think of this as a kinda extension of my autumn celebration but more Halloween centric here and there. A kinda followup to a quiet house, a year later.

You hummed as you prepped the kids lunches, pressing the cookie cutters through them and smiling as you stacked them on the plate.

The door opened, hinges creaking as Henry came in with Kal.

"Hey baby, are the boys coming in for lunch?" You ask turning to face him plate in hand, one hand resting on the swell of your stomach.

He smiles, "Yes, they are just putting away their things." He eyes the plate and you hold up a finger.

"Oh no, these are the boys, you big bear. I'll put something together for you and me after the boys are happily munching."

"Are those shaped like Frankenstein?" he asks through a chuckle.

"Frankenstein's monster," you correct, smiling down at them, "with carrot stick bolts."

"Is there a reason for this?" He asks, trying to hold in his mirth.

"It's spooky season," you say, softly setting the plate of sandwiches down on the table.

"It's October first.".

"Spooky season," you repeat, seriously.

He shakes his head and leans in kiss your forehead.

You wrinkle up your nose, "Ew, you smell, Hen."

He smirks and pulls you into a deep kiss.

You push against his chest and gag when you pulls away. "I love you, but you're seriously rank, please go shower before I throw up."

He huffs and rubs your bump, "Babygirl giving you an upset stomach again?"

You place your hand on his and nod. "Yes, my current craving is anything that I can keep down," you mutter, lacing your fingers with Henry's and gasping when you see the dirt caked under his nails. "Henry! I already have 4 boys to look after, I don't need to look after my husband too," you tease, dropping his hand.

He chuckles, "Yes, mama, showering now."

You smile, "Good, want me to warm up the leftovers for you from last night for Lunch?"

"Sounds perfect, my love," he murmurs, as the door flies open and your wild boys come tumbling.

"Boys, scrub those mitts, no rugby hands at my table," you call, hearing them go barreling into the kitchen to wash their hands. "They take after you, those cubs," you mutter shaking your head at Henry, who just laughs as he heads to the bathroom. You rub your bump. "Animals, those boys," you mutter, walking back to the kitchen one by one the boys find their place at the table. You set out a mummy juice box for each other boys and then picked up the remote to hit play, filling the house with 'Monster Mash'."

You smile, "Spooky Season is upon us cubs, now we feast," you declared as you placed the shaped sandwiches on their plates, next to the little broom sticks made from pretzel sticks and string cheese. "Eat up, boys, you've got banana ghosts for dessert," you say, rubbing your bump. They start eating, pausing to play with their food and making their sandwiches roar every now and again. You turn back to the kitchen and warm up Henry's leftovers before making yourself some chicken noodle soup.

Henry comes back out smelling fresh and sidles up behind you so that he can press himself against you. You stir the soup as he presses kisses to your neck. "What do you say we ask Mum to take the boys for the weekend, so I can pamper my girl?" he says, softly under his breath so the boys can't hear him.

"Are you sure, they are quite the handful."

He nods, "I'm sure she'd love too. I'll give her a call. If she can't do, I bet one of my brothers wouldn't mind."

"Your brothers have their own families, Hen," you say, looking at him over your shoulder.

"Yes, I know, but they'd understand. We've taken their kiddos for the weekend before."

You nod. "That's true," you say, nodding. He kisses your neck again.

"It'll be good for us, plus it's not like I can get you anymore pregnant," he says with a gruff chuckle.

You smack his hand where it rest on your bump as the microwave beeps, "You're lunch is ready, now please, behave yourself."

He nips your neck and moves to get his food.

You take your soup off the stove and fix it, before joining the boys at the table along with Henry. Henry shuts the music off, making you pout slightly before he brings up the boys Halloween costumes. You sip the soup and smile at him over the table. The boys should out their ideas and Henry smiles you again, shouting you a wink before turning his attention to the boys.

You smile at your boys and rub your bump again, loving that your little girl will have such a fierce pack of boys to protect as she grows up. You sip your soup again and savor the thought as your boys continue to discuss their costume ideas.
