To Paris I did travel,
Because in Paris you are found
But what I gained was much much more,
To Paris I was bound.
A part of myself left behind,
Something must replace,
And shy away all those tears
Running down my face.
For I did see the Notre dame
And walked along the Seine,
My breath pulled away in Louvre,
The many places I had been.
And every time I took a step
Onto those cobblestones,
A piece of me traded forth
For a place that I call home.
So to Paris I did travel,
And in Paris I was found
But you my find as I did
Paris forever keeps you bound.
