"Yah Jungkook!!" I shouted for him when I saw him exit the school building. "Oh Eunha, what's up?" He asked as he walked my way. I can't believe I'm actually about to say this. I looked down at the ground before I met his eyes. "How do you feel about karaoke?" His face suddenly lit up, a bright smile formed across his face. Without saying another word, I grabbed his hand and started walking to the karaoke bar.
Once we arrived, I immediately heard Mingyu's horrible singing. I followed the noise, with Jungkook still behind me, to a room with the door closed. Without thinking, I opened the door, and made my way into the room.
As I walked in I saw Mingyu with a mix in his hands, and behind sat Kyung and the rest of the vampires. "W-what are you guys doing here?" I asked as my eyes met with Kyung's. I felt a sudden tug on my arm, making me fall back into a strong embrace. I looked up to only see Jungkook. "Eunha...let's just go." I could feel Jungkook's anger grow as he spoke.
"Go? We've waited almost an hour for you and you wanna go? Well that's a little rude, don't you think Jungkook? Don't want to kill the fun right?" I felt Jungkook's grip on me loosen. Jungkook's eyes were big and his mouth was slightly opened. What was going on? And why did kyung say 'kill' like that?
Jungkook suddenly looked at me, his dark yellow eyes staring into mine. I gave him a reassuring smile and he did the same. "So..let's sing!" I shouted.
"Jungkook, why don't you sing first, hm?" Jungkook gave Kyung a death glare before he picked a song and started to sing.
Jungkook's POV
As I sung, I couldn't help but to look at her. The way she looked with her eyes shut while enjoying the music was...comforting. Just being around her is comforting! I have this weird attraction towards Eunha. I want to be the one that makes her smile, I want to be the one that makes her day, and I want to be the one that protects her from everything, especially from Kyung.
Eunha makes me happy. She gives me a purpose, and I don't want to lose that.
Eunha's POV
Once Jungkook was done sing, I started to clap for him. He voice is amazing! The way he sung was so soothing and angelic. "Jungkook that was amazing!" I praised him as he took a seat next to me. "Thank you Eunha." I saw his cheeks turn red, was he hot or something?
"Eunha, I think it would be great if you could sing also. You also have an amazing voice~" Mingyu winked at me. I rolled my eyes as I got up from my seat and grabbed a mic.
As I placed the mic back on its stand, I wiped the tears from my eyes. This song reminded me of my mom. Before she dead, she divorced my dad because we wasn't her 'dream family'. Suddenly, I felt an arm snake around my waist. "Eunha, are you ok?" I heard Mingyu ask me. "Yeah I'm fine." I pulled away from his embrace and walked back to my seat on couch.
"Eunha, you and Jungkook have became close, right?" Kyung asked me. "Yeah, I'll call us close friends, why?" Honestly why would he ask that? "Well your "close friend" has been holding out on you. Don't you know it's rude to keep secrets from your friends Jungkook?" Rina said with a intimidating tone.
Holding out on me? What are they talking about?
"Jungkook, what do they mean?" Jungkook looked at me the back at the ground. "Jungkook, why don't you tell Eunha your secret, hm?" I heard Wonwoo say. I placed my hand on Jungkook's thigh, trying to comfort him. "Jungkook, you know that you can tell me anything right? I'll support in any discussion you make." He looked up at me hesitantly. I gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm sorry.....I-I can't s-say.."
Author's POV
Kyung let out a loud groan in frustration. "Fine, you don't have to tell her. But I will." Suddenly Jennie stood up and walked to Eunha. "Eunha, a long time ago...Jungkook," Jennie paused. She took a moment to look at Jungkook, how his eyes were begging for her to stop. Jennie smirked before she continued, "A long time ago, Jungkook had this friend. They were best friends. They were very close to each other, did everything together. They also loved to play on rooftops together, but one day when they were playing.... an ancient happened. His best friend, who was begging for help, fell off the roof! And instead of helping her, he ran!" Jennie shouted the last part. Eunha took a moment to breath before she looked at Jungkook, who was crying in his hands.
"I'm sorry Jennie!!" Jungkook cried. "She was my sister!! She trusted you!! And when she needed you most you just let her die!! She wasn't even a vampire, Jungkook! She was a human!" Jennie yelled through her tears. "I had to,I'm sorry!! M-my parents-" Kyung cut him off. "So what if your parents don't like vampires! It doesn't mean you couldn't have saved Jisoo."
Eunha didn't know how to feel. She didn't want to believe that Jungkook would do such a thing but he did. Maybe Jungkook did hate vampires and she was dumb to believe they could be friends. "Eunha, We are only doing this to protect you." Mingyu wrapped his arms around Eunha. "I-I have to go." And with that, Eunha ran out of building, but Jungkook was right behind her.
"Eunha please wait!" Jungkook begged. Eunha turned around. She wiped the tears from her puffy red and before she replied to him. "What is it Jungkook? What more do you have to say?"
"Eunha....Please don't let this get between us. I couldn't save Jisoo. My parents believed and still believes that Vampires and Werewolves don't mix, but that doesn't mean that I believe the same." Jungkook slowly took light steps towards Eunha. He wrapped his arms around her small waist and held her close to his chest. If Eunha never wanted to see him again, he at least wanted to hold her once more. Jungkook then started to stare into Eunha's light purple eyes. As they both started to lean forward, they both felt a sudden spark, making them pull away. This snapped them both back to reality.
"I'll see you tomorrow Jungkook." Eunha started to walk away but Jungkook was quick to grab her hand. "Eunha, please. You know me." Eunha took one look at Jungkook before she turned her back on him and said, "Do I really know you?" Before she continued to walk home.
Jungkook has now lost his happiness and his purpose. Maybe Werewolves and Vampires aren't suppose to mix after all.
