We've been here a couple of weeks now and Fred and George have already got a bunch of detentions and the whole school knows them as the pranksters . I'm not surprised honestly . I helped them out a couple of times but I know if I get caught my parents will be outraged and I cant think of anything more embarrassing then getting a howler from my parents on my first week here .
I was sitting in the common room petting my jet black cat C/N and I saw an owl so i opened up the window and read the letter
Dear Y/N ,
I am happy to hear you made it into slytherin ! I hope you are doing well and are enjoying Hogwarts .

NOOOO i groaned as a sat with the letter in my hand . I hate Malfoy and the last thing i need is him writing to me I thought I escaped him and his stuck up self who i have to constantly pretend I enjoy his company .
"You alright there" I heard from a voice in the corner . I thought i was alone and i just sat there with my mouth gaping open .
"Hi I'm Daniel , who are you i don't believe we've ever met " he says standing up putting his hand ouyt for me to shake with a small smirk on his face .
"Oh hey , i'm Y/N" I say looking at him he was tall with dark hair and dark eyes . He was really nice and we were up talking for hours and after a while i said night and headed to bed .
