'Ello, ello,oh,oh. Ello, ello,oh,oh,ooh. Its a bright new day, yeah this is me' I LOVE that song.
Oh sorry, where are my manners? Hey, I'm Ciara DeLeon. I'm 15 and I live in Havana, Cuba. Exotic, right? My mom died when I was 10 because of Leukemia. I live with my dad and helpers. My dad travels a lot so I dont get to see him that much.We also move a lot, last time we were in Lisbon, Portugal so I dont go to school. Instead, I have a private tutor. The only friend I've had since mom died is Maya, the housekeeper. She's taken care of me since I was a baby- those days she was the nanny. Life for me is okay besides the fact that dad is always busy sorting out his buisiness. I wish I had friends.
Maya-Cee darling, would you like some coffee?
Ciara-Yeah Maya, thanks.
Maya- Okay, you get ready and I'll bring it up to your room!I love talking to her, we are SO CLOSE!
*Ring Ring*
Maya- I think that maybe your father.Ciara-What does he want now?
Miya- Ciaraaa!
Ciara- Okay, okay! *picking up phone* Hey dad!
Dad-Hey sweetheart! Could I speak to Maya please?
Ciara- Umm, sure.*hands phone to Maya*
Maya-Hello sir.
Dad-Hello Maya!
Maya- Yes, why? When? How? With WHO? Why? You HAVE to stop this Esteban. No you can't. I know it's buisiness but- I know, I know but she's your daughter. Ok fine. I will tell her, but you have to stop this madness. Ok sir. Bye
Ciara- We're moving again, aren't we?
Maya- I'm afraid to say we are my girl. We need to start packing now.
I was frozen, cup of coffee in hand, sitting on one of the kitchen barstools.
http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=142238086Tears streamed down my face, I was unable to stop them. I put my mug down onto the floor and then jumped onto my favorite chair- my comfort chair. Maya tried to calm me down, but failed. She ended up packing up everything by herself and making sure that everything would be ready for the move- bubble-wrapping and boxing various items. Most things hadn't even been unpacked from the last move two months ago.
http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=142239003I cried, and cried, and cried. I cried myself to sleep. My last words before I dropped off were, 'No, not again'.
Dad- Cee!*shaking me* Wake up, we need to go!
At some pointduring the night, either Maya or Dad had lifted me of the chair, and put me onto the airbed, covering me with a warm duvet. I looked up, the chair was gone, and so was our stuff. Overnight-Overseas Furniture Delivery.
Ciara-Am I in heaven or hell? Must be heaven cos the ceilings bright or maybe it's the sky.Dad-Ciara!Wake up! Our plane! We'll be late!
Ciara-Oh great, it's hell.Dad-*sighing* now,now I know you're mad at me, but please try to understand? I don't like this anymore than you do.
Ciara- Yahh you donnn't *voice dripping with sarcasm* You're doing this cos you love me.*rolling my eyes*
Dad-Sarcasm won't solve anything right now. You know, I'll even find you a new and better tutor!
Ciara-Yeah cos THAT will solve anything.
Honestly, I don't even know why he tries. Aaaarghh, let me get this over with. It's not like I even have a reason to live anymore!
